Yeah, I also felt Splatoon was a bit like destiny, only more fun, despite Destiny beeing this behemoth of a game that tries to conve depth and story, at the end of the day, its just a shooter with RPG elements. But Splatoon has the roller, and it rocks :)
So happy Nintendo sticks to the Wii U. I love how they implemented motion controls into splatoon, takes a little time getting used to, but then its just fast and cool.
Granted, its not as flashy and inspired a name as "Project Cars"...

Nintendo seems on the multiplayer online train, with Devils Third, Splatoon, Project Treasure, MK, SSB...
Also please give developers some credit, there are behind the scenes things when creating such a game that have much to do with technicalities, less with mischief. There are companies who charge money to unlock something on your disc out of greed, but this Splatoon stuff is free and I liked the idea to wait til the Splatometer got filled up. Damn hard this ranked battle mode, me finds.
Splatoon has fantastic gameplay that has leveral layers and isnt quite as simple as it seems at first sight. I never was into online shooters, skipped Destiny etc, but Splatoon caught me by surprise, its fast, furious and fun.
Its not because people want them, its because its the fastest way to get games on the new consoles, period. Its a way to fake new game releases and fake a rich variety of next gen software.
The Wii U is no PS4 alright, but quite frankly, if You look at games like Forza on Xbox 360 or some of the last Need for Speed games, You understand that it is possible to port Cars to Wii U. Not with all the bells and whistles of course. I doubt the Wii U version would be "horrible". What makes me angry is that they blame the Wii U hardware but what they really want to blame is the weak sales of the Wii U, cause they dont want to invest time and money for a game that doesnt sell en...
Maybay is right, although Cars seems more taxing than Mario Kart. The way they treat their Wii U owning KS supporters is a big shame. If tgey are unable to code properly maybe the should switch to office software.
Those who hate it wont come back for a sequel, though. I still think about buying Destiny at all, but I stil dont know...

Travelling Gaur Plains in the original Xenoblade Chronicles never gets old, its just awesome and majestic, and the way they textured it looks gorgeous at a distance. The way the light breaks through the gigantic mountains and lightens the landscape...breathtaking.
The faces arent worse than in Star Ocean or Phantasy Star, no problem for me.
Ok, I am fed up with all that negativity concerning dlc. There is one thing if a game has only few features and shallow content at release, but if its chokeful with content, I am fine with dlc. Secondly, that content took time to produce, and a game needs to be done months before release content wise, so this new dlc took also months to produce and could not be done at release of the game, unless You wanted several months delay.
Sorry this looks very boring. I am usually wrong, but I think the game is 10 years too late.
