Ps3 looks good enough. I am playing The Evil Within on PS3 currently, and it has pop ups, late texture loading, screen tearing, low AA, bad shadows, and still manages to entertain me big time :-) So MGS V will probably be even better ;)
Time happened. The game was from 2010, and they could barely finish it.
People are such whiners nowadays. Damned if You stagnate, damned if You change. What I saw from T3 on Youtube looks fabulous. The "3D" camera looks like it needs getting accustomed to, but so it was for Metroid Prime when it was released.
Considering how many times I got shot from a) close with a Slosher, Roller, Brush and b) from afar by Scope etc, I would say its flexible enough. Its simple, but also very accessible, and offers enough room for a handful of tactics. Its a different target audience than Your average CoD, thats about it. Its like Mario Kart vs Project Cars I guess. And thats good.
Cartridge means no install times (just installed GOW Ascension on PS3, that took an hour), instant game play, fast loading. Combined with enough RAM thats a great thing. I hate installing games on the PS or Xbox. I also mostly buy games digitally these days, a 500 Gb HD holds quite many games.
I found Uncharted to be decent at best, played through all three, had some nice moments. Replay value for me is zero, as the games are quite repetitive, and I never got attached to the characters.
I actually want something special for Nintendo consoles. I love the gamepad. I love motion controls. Nintendo is more playful than the others. I spent my youth with Medal of honour, Doom, half-life, and as a mature gamer, i have only little interest in shooters. Nintendo gives me good entertainment, colourful worlds and funny games. I prefer Splatoon to anything else out there, wenn it comes to multiplayer shooter. But I understand that decades of Kart, Brawl, Super Mario leave the audience y...

100% agreed. If they had built a magic pipeline to deliver crisp HD games at 60fps, Starfox wouldnt look as it does. They would need to pay a ton of dosh to get third parties to develop launch games for the Nx after the Wii U fiasco. I wonder how expensive it would be to boost the gpu of the xbox one slim ? I mean You need to rewire a lot of things anyway, so why not add a bit more power to the gpu, especially since by then, the manufacturing should he cheaper, too ? That way it could finally deliver 1080p/60.

+1 for Sphinx. But LoK is really bad. I watchrd a gameplay video and the age and PS2 origins shows big time: ugly textures, basic lighting, Kay's talk animation is laughable (and loops endlessly even when he does not talk), and it just looks all boring and generic. Its no Sly Raccoon or Sphinx.
This game looks ok, and is packed with content and fun.The glowing mantra are awesome. It reminds me stylewise of Fist of the North Star. Brutal, over the top, animesque, hilarious, tense.

I am probably alone with my opinion, but I never liked the colour palette of the Uncharted series. The lighting is always unnatural, and the whole thing looks more cartoonish than atmospheric. Too much blue in everything, and strange variations of green and red, feels tacked on. So for me its TR.
