I just discussed this with a friend, thing is, the devs got so good at faking reflections, that the jump to "real" raytraced reflections is not as "transformative" as tech dudes think it is. Same goes for lighting. If You go Xbox360-->PS5 You might see a big step, but PS5-->Pro ? Not so much.
When they started with "console exclusives are a thing of the past" I knew they were out. Once gamepass has reached end of growth, they have nothing left. Even with gamepass, PS5 sells incredibly well in comparison. I just dunno why Xbox is THAT unpopular,as I feel their lineup is more diverse with Forza, Gears, Age of Empires, Flight Simulator, Starfield, Indy...

My hope was that the best last gen games would be the baseline for the current games. We had 4k60 on XboxOneX IIRC, so I exspected every game on SX would start there. As for artistic choice: it is. But this goes both ways. Designing the assets so the hardware can NOT hit 60fps is a questionable choice.

Yeah, that means PS5, not "neither", the VR is a "mode" not a version, and PSVR is not a system or a platform, just a display/controller.
Everything about the Switch is underpowered and overpriced. But it also has exclusives that are good enough to make up for it, like Mario+Rabbids, Xenoblade Chronicles etc. The Xbox and PS feel more honest to me, as You get vastly superior power for just double the money. The Switch feels like a paywall.
