Yeah boycott them so all of their new IPs like Blur, Singularity, DJ Hero, etc that were only possible due to games like Call of Duty and Guitar Hero sell horribly, that'll teach em!
Major corporations are not out to be your friend unless you're a stockholder, the sooner gamers realize that the better we will all be.
Garos: So you're saying the industry did not have sequels or DLC before Activision Blizzard?
Here are some billboards,

I saw a lot of ads on gaming sites for Alan Wake in the weeks leading up to launch on sites like N4G, GameGrep, IGN, etc. They also had a miniseries called "Bright Falls" that had excellent production values.
I haven't seen any TV ads which is very disappointing, they had a f...
I guess you're right since we know what their lineup is and all...
And when has Rare refused to listen to consumers?
Consumers wanted a new Perfect Dark, they made it.
Consumers wanted classic Rare titles on XBLA, they made them.
Consumers and critics liked Viva Pinata (niche for consumers I guess) they gave the fanbase more.
Consumers wanted a Golden Eye on XBLA, they tried to make one but were stopped by Nintendo.
And the list goes on.
Rare also has one of the best communit...
That is open to interpretation, the OXM interview is a general shoot the breeze thing and not really talking about a specific game.
Also, a game developer liking or not liking a game is hardly newsworthy enough to qualify. It might be hard to believe but a lot of game developers actually like to play other games.
Do you work for Gamesthirst or something? You're always in their posts attacking people who don't like them.
The real problem with Gamesthirst is that they take other sites interviews, cut out a section of them and post it to N4G. Anyone who has taken the N4G Contributer test should realize you aren't allowed to do that with submissions, it was the third question on the test! On top of that, it's not courteous to the original interviewers.
Keeps crashing on me no matter what game I try, the client feels a lot like Steam, might try again in a few hours.
Fallout 3 had the worst dog A.I. ever! Not only would he give your position away when trying to be stealthy, he did very little that made him useful at all. In Fable II for instance your dog would help you finish off enemies, find treasure, etc. In Fallout 3 if you asked your dog to find you something he'd lead you into an enemy camp!
The fact that he would run upto enemies that would completely annihilate him made it even worse, if you asked him to stay behind their wa...
Arg, Heavy Rain was great but it didn't invent a new genre! At most it is part of the F.R.E.E. genre which has been around for over a decade now!
----SEMI SPOILER?-----
Given what's portrayed and the way the game ended, a DLC announcement could be plausible. Remedy always likes to do things big and weird when it comes to their games.
The game has been in development for nearly 5 years (was shown at Sony's E3 05 conference) and on top of the studio rumors I can see how it might have to sell well to break even, not sure on a number though.
I doubt a PS3 release is in the cards for Alan Wake solely because of how much Microsoft has invested in the game so far. Remedy is a small studio, it would take them a while to get the engine and everything setup for a PS3 game anyway. PC is a maybe.
The signs seems to be pointing towards a music video for Poets of the Fall, they did some of the music for Alan Wake and even some exclusive tracks too. Would be cool to see a game universe branch out and come around full circ...
Red Dead Redemption isn't an original/new IP, it's the second game in the Red Dead franchise.
Would have bought the game already but I'm 100 MP short :(
I'm trying to think of any good SEGA online games made in past years but I'm having trouble, they've mostly been singleplayer experiences for consoles. I guess Virtua Fighter 5? I just hope this doesn't mean they tack on crappy multiplayer solely to charge if they go this route.
Seriously though, I don't care if the code is included with the game, I don't want enter a book full of codes to access features that were already unlocked in previous years! The...
Do you even have an Xbox 360?
Fable III was also teased to use Natal, Microsoft traditionally saves a lot of their stuff for E3 even if it is going to release in the same year. Take a look at Forza 3 last year, it was announced at E3 and sold over 1 million copies as of December 8th, 2009.

Off the top of my head,
-Old Gears of War DLC is now free
-Free Perfect Dark Zero DLC, the old DLC is free too now
-Halo 3 DLC is now free
-Undertow
And the list goes on,
I think you missed the point, Ghostbusters was developed on the PS3 first and then ported to 360 yet the PS3 port was a travesty that people unfortunately had to witness.
Don't feed the trolls budgetgamer, it's good to see the bubbles system actually works on the new N4G since most of the fanboys are down to one bubble hence are easier to put up with than before.
I didn't realize they released sales figures for either title...
