The VMU launched in 98 right? The Pocketstation seems to have sold ok in Japan,

I wonder how the VMU sold though, I'm sure it must have done well too given it was also a memory card with its own games too.
It should be alright since I don't think any major RPG's are inline for a 2011 release so far, by the time Witcher 2 hits people should largely be done with this and last years RPG's and want something new.
Two different teams are making those two franchises, besides, the two games are nothing alike in terms of playability. UT is a first person shooter is it not while Gears is third person?
Unreal Tournament 3 was a great game yet it sold like crap, even the online community is small in size in comparison to previous titles. Gears of War is selling great for Epic, the consumers have voted with their wallets and Epic if they want to stay in business need to accommodate it long ...
Was always a fan of the first title so a sequel is right up my alley!
This guy should stay in school, Hitler was just a messenger in World War I and the Nazi's came later.
I think you are greatly over estimating how big digital sales are.
This list is discredited for including Prey as a crap game, Sonic Adventure wasn't a crap game either. Most of these games were mediocre at best, I think the GamesRadar people need to brush up on their definition of a "crap game".
Finally, someone not talking about how they play WoW!
It wasn't a bad interview, I like Age of Conan, here's hoping the expansion can respur interest.
No, unlike a majority of the N4G crowd Major is not a fanboy but simply a gamer. Even on his podcast, he talks about playing games that are on other systems, saying good things about the competition, even interviewing Seattle developers that weren't making Xbox 360 games in any form about their upcoming games to support them. Heck, even when a multiplatform developer is on his show Major plugs that the game is also coming out on "rival" consoles as well.

Digital Foundry has always been the technical side of things, not content.
I'm sure Rockstar will have an official statement once the sales rush is over, resolution isn't that big of a deal but the technical issues and bugs (both versions) are doing gamers a disservice.
They're two different type of games, one focuses on customization and the other more on competitive racing.
Great score, will definitely be picking up Blur when I have the cash.
What a horrible review, it starts off with arrogance and barely scratches the surface! A majority of the review is talking about the A.I., I'm all for a difference in opinion but this review doesn't even mention the graphics, audio, online, etc to a satisfactory degree!
Major Nelson isn't a community manager, Larry Hyrb (his real name) is Director of Programming on Xbox Live.

A little known company called SEGA did revisions on a console called the Genesis or Mega Drive depending on where in the world you were. I think Atari and Nintendo also had revisions with some of their systems in the past too.
The review is pretty long and descriptive, if it was shorter and only touched the surface maybe your "complaint" could have held some water.
Best is objective, Kennedy from what I can remember was a favorite but so were a lot of other US presidents.
Great time for a release, summer games should be finished by then and there will be plenty of time before the next big Fall release to finish Halo: Reach.
With that logic I could take Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing, set the framebuffer to 1080p and sell it for $80 since it has more pixels than standard HD (720P).
Great journalism, $150 is only rumored....
