Yes, the media was VERY biased against the PS3, that's why Uncharted, Resistance, etc scored as high as they did right?
Haze isn't a great game regardless of the platform(s) it could have came out on.
It might not have revolutionized gaming but it has made it somewhat more popular amongst certain crowds. Developers have also found a new avenue of revenue which, as long as they make quality games for is ok by me.
Well, it's not like IGN is the only site giving the game such reviews.

Perhaps it's simply co-op like with Fable II and not a full on "Gears" type shooter mode?
Shenmue Online was looking good especially when it was a "modern" take on the world of Shenmue II, if only SEGA didn't drop the ball and get it out in time, they could have had a great following in Asia over it, maybe they still can but the market is far more saturated now than it was in 2004.
Great times with Shenmue II, that game was pretty random, it got to a point where I wouldn't be experiencing the same thing as a friend of mine playing the game at the same time would! One minor example is the guy who needs you to help fix the sign near the hotel you first stay at, I didn't get that event but my friend did.
John Carpenter was working on a horror game for the 360/PS3/PC after The Thing 2 was cancelled but I think his newer project was as well, shame.
Didn't Midway have one that was basically L4D meets Stranglehold? That premise could have been cool but I missed the footage before it was taken down.
RE: Yes because everyone on the internet is really who they say they are.
I'm from the Alpha Protocol development team and I know for a fact that the commenter in question never set foot in our studio.
/seewhatIdid?
Yes because everyone on the internet is really who they say they are. The game is what it is, but I would never put so much credence into some random internet comment.
Subscriptions are usually cheap because there is less packaging involved in comparison to buying a magazine at retail where there is more packaging (DVD cases, subscription cards, etc).
At the same time, the investment is returned through advertisement. If you go to advertisers and say "our magazine has 1 million subscribers at the end of 2010" you would get better rates/more money than if it was only at 200 thousand for instance.
Basically, mag...
I'm not that far into the game but there is definite variety to the game, some missions like the first one are spread into acts so you can save and pick it up again when ever you want. In some missions you can choose to kill someone or take them alive which has an impact on your game. Just by riding around the world you can come into random event like a gang of thugs robbing a stage coat or someone being lynched, etc.
The game doesn't do a good job of telling you how th...
The cake thing makes this guy [the fan] seem super obsessive :P It's cool that Price would reach out to a fan like this though, very few studios are so fan oriented.
Even after making a second comment perhaps you should have read what the employee said instead of digging your hole further. The producers on the project were not willing to listen to the feedback given.
Obsidian has done some great games in the past, KoTOR 2 was a good game but could have been even better if LucasArts didn't rush it out the door. Anyone who has played the fan made restoration mods can tell you this, infact, if the game came out like how Obsidian had hoped it could easily have eclipsed the first (although it does for me personally anyway).
Neverwinter Nights 2 and the expansions are all great games as well. Alpha Protocol is Obsidian's first game to...
If you're starting to run low on 360 storage space why not use an external hard drive or USB stick now that the OS supports them? (up to 16GB each at least)
A lot of developers get shafted even at retail, most of the profits go to the publisher anyway. I think Microsoft and Sony take 60 but Nintendo has never been public from what I can remember.
From what I remember reading before, the game was in development for both the Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii as an XBLA/WiiWare port but Nintendo changed the contract and no one could agree anymore.
The gun point scenario the reviewer described has me interested in the game, but given the technical issues I don't know if full price is worth it.
They also made,
Star Wars: KOTOR II (Although LA really messed them up)
Neverwinter Nights 2 and expansions
Before that, the key team at Obsidian worked at Black Isle and made games like,
Fallout series
Baldurs Gate series
Ice Wind Dales series
Planetscape: Torment

halojunkie: Given your comments history I highly doubt you have an Xbox 360 let alone played Alan Wake.
