There was no "true ending" in the DLC, when you beat Alan Wake you finish the story arc that is set out from the start. The DLC bridges the game for future installements that are seperate from the first game's story which were confirmed ages ago.

tldr: The true ending is the one at the end of Alan Wake, the DLC is to bridge for the "next arc".

They don't count Japan because they don't have a Japanese division anymore IIRC so the Activision titles that release in that region are handled by other publishers like Square Enix with COD.

High Moon's Transformer games are great so I have faith in them for Dark of the Moon.

I liked Blood Stone personally but it had issues. This new 007 game is probably the rumored Raven game although it would be nice to see what Eurocom could do with the game again since from what I remember, all their 007 games have been great.

The hackers were actually the government, what a twist!

Directed by M. Night Shyamalan.

In all seriousness though, if laws like this are in place it will only help consumers long term. Companies like Sony, Microsoft, etc will likely be on the ball when it comes to revealing stuff like this, but that's not to say all companies are and laws like this ensure they will be if the need arises.

Why? These type of organizations keep corporations in check to ensure they are acting with regulations and law. They only help consumers in the end, would you rather these watchdog organizations just disappear and the corporations can have their way with consumers?

Further, the team dealing with repairing PSN and the team dealing with government organizations would be two different teams. It's not like Kaz is the only person working at Sony on the issue. ;)

They weren't actually developing the game for 10 years. They went through various revisions, if you look at screens of the PS1 and Gamecube versions of Too Human you'll see that the concept behind the game is different from the one that actually released.

The game had a lot of potential, I'm sure the issues with Epic didn't help the team much at all though.

The Dreamcast brought,

- VMU connectivity
- Unified online console gaming for the masses
- Gaming between PC and console
- Gaming on consoles with Mouse/Keyboard
- Webcam for console
- Motion controls (fishing rod controller, can't forget the Ready 2 Rumble prototype either)
- Broadband on consoles
- Web browser support

And the list goes on.

The Dreamcast didn't have that long on...

I think it has to do with regulations in the US marketplace but I'm not 100% sure. Basically to make sure when something at a companies screws up they were at least following procedures.

In this case I THINK all they need to know is whether Sony informed consumers within a reasonable amount of time after finding out.

But again, I'm not 100% sure so it would be nice to get a second opinion.

These are politicians asking Sony, not forensic specialists.

Shocking I know but some gamers own multiple consoles.

Secondly, there were MGS games on Xbox and Gamecube last generation.

A. Obsidian has nothing to do with Bethesda's DLC plans.

B. Bethesda being the publisher would also provide some QA support as well.

I'm still ticked about the state EA/DICE left Battlefield 1943 in. The game is breaking records to this day and they basically dropped support for the game shortly after launch.

Title is a bit misleading since it implies it's the first 360 game to have dedicated servers at all (which is incorrect).

This feature is pretty cool though, will be picking up Prejudice eventually, really liked the demo.

Two and five have the same person in them!

It's hilarious the lengths some people go to for gaming but it's all in good fun.

They should have just focused on the 3000 from launch, the lack of a UMD drive on the Go was a huge mistake. The fact that the 3000 has largely sold better than the Go since its release is telling.

Heck, I didn't even see any reason to get the Go over the 3000. When friends asked me about the Go I just told them to stick to the 3000 since you can get a larger memory card and download games from PSN/buy UMD's. The best of both worlds, why limit yourself to just one opt...

Most of the original team is at Ruffian, they broke off and formed their own studio after there was no chance of Realtime Worlds doing a sequel to Crackdown 2.

Optical discs have been around since the 50s and used for movies/data storage, CD's were the first type of optical disc to be used for music storage along side regular data storage.

On topic: RIP, I still avoid digital music downloads since I prefer CD's!

When it comes to other public record attempts people really aren't given much of a reason to show up asides from the goal and maybe some "swag" (which you get digitally here anyway).

Still, it will be interesting to see how well it does.

This has been announced for quite some time now to coincide with the record attempt.

News flash: Companies [especially traded ones] aren't out to be your friends, they are all in the business to make money.
