It is quite small, I was hoping for Mario 3, but keep in mind the bravely default demo is a full fledged side story, and RPGs last awhile
I know I could be jumping into the fire with this comment but here it goes: I'm sure the game will be fantastic on PS4, but I don't know how it could define next gen gaming.
On a graphics basis, the XBO and PS4 versions will probably have the same appearance. Which isn't bad when considering that it will still look great. However, please forgive me for throwing this trump card, the PC version will probably look better given that the next-gen systems don't beat...
The E'shop on Wii U works fine for me, its the 3DS one that's having problems. I think the problems are only affecting that.
here's the Nintendo Network official status page: http://www.nintendo.com/con...
If it's a good game shouldn't that be enough? GOTY is neat 'n all, but at the end of the day it isn't what makes a game great. If you enjoyed it then it served its purpose, and that's what a game should do.
The new Legend of Zelda game did the same for the guys at GameStop: they had fun with the game, so they wanted to express their enjoyment of it in a really nice way: by giving it GOTY. The same has been done for The Last of Us by many other websites. It...
hello, I would like to win, if I am so lucky
That was fantastic
Alright.... Tell me, If the developers say that it can, don't you think it would be able to do so?
The article did say that "some super-high-level graphical effects may not be possible", but there are a couple rebuttals to this, Firstly they said "may" which means they might still try to get them put in, and secondly they're saying that they will be adding more features by utilizing the Game Pad.
Such things as "track map ov...
May I have some actual reasons why please? That aren't ridden with the typical bias that pervades this site.
@Dalibor
well, I found from an old October article that the Steam Machine Prototype's size specs are 30.5 x 31.5 x 7.5cm. That seems right considering the Titan's size compared to it.
The PS4's size is 30.5 x 27.5 x 5.3cm, making the SM larger than Sony's console, and larger than the XBO as its size is approximately 26.3 x 34.3 x 8cm. The Wii U is 17.27 x 26.67 x 4.58cm in size making the Steam Machine the biggest of the lot. This could very ...
...you do realize he stated that Sony could survive it also right? and supported his statements with more things than just metacritic? please watch the whole thing before you condemn it for others
All fandoms are equally bad and good. One isn't better then the other. Each have loud, obnoxious, and biased members which is what outside groups see as the face of the fandoms. This of coarse stems from the foolish love of company over medium. Its perfectly fine liking a company for releasing good games, but we as gamers all play GAMES, not companies.
I hope there will be a Wii U or Steam Machine version. If it goes on those I'd by it in a heart beat. otherwise I'd probably get it for PC
I love the Tingle paragraph. I heard that Tingle was quite popular over in Japan and Europe doesn't mind as much as North America does. I even heard that in big Super Smash Bros Melee tournaments, people would make a temporary truce to kill tingle in the Majora's Mask stage :)
sigh.... dude I like the Wii U and its my favorite system as of late but your not really helping the stereotypical "blind fanboy" thing go away.
The PS4 and XBO had excellent launches, that really can't be denied. The Wii U also had a good launch having sold most of its systems in the launch window, then it fell into the drought that it's in right now.
There is a low possibility that the other systems will fall into a drought also due to th...
I myself would love the Wii U to win, but as it is, people are more concerned with system specs and the Wii U has the weakest. It's not nearly as weak as some people seem to think, thinking its weaker then the 7th generation systems, and it is capable of some nice graphics as evidenced by Nano Assault Neo, which uses very little of the system's power as stated by the developers, as well as the New Mario game. but this in turn could be due to their simple nature. Very few of the 3rd pa...
I already have a Wii U but I plan on getting a Steam Machine for third party games
Yeah, his interview was definitely one of the best at the show. That's why I love small indie teams so much, they're bringing great things to the table because they love the industry. Not because of money. I think its one of the reasons that I feel that indie games have so much more life than most AAA games, Their creators painstakingly build them to be unique and beautiful and not just the next game in a yearly series.
Of coarse not all AAA companies are like this, b...
These are great screenshots, but it makes me wonder something: Is the racing genre toxic? I've noticed that both this genre and the sports genre's real means of improving from the last is graphics and physics, but what happens when we have ultra realistic games that can't be topped? Will new racing games cease production?
Of coarse the other thing that are added every game is new cars, but I probably wouldn't want to buy a game just for new vehicles. A DLC pa...
@hellsvacancy
That depends. Consoles were originally made significantly different than computers. However, this gen, they're copying the architecture of mid level PCs. I would argue that since they're being made like a computer, then a computer should be comparable to them now. In which case they are not nearly as good as a high end gaming PC. since they are all the same architecture, PCs are as much consoles as consoles are now
Also, "Next Gen&q...

I think I read that they're off the coast of a river, and the river has been flooding. England does get a lot of rain, so it may not be that uncommon for floods, but I'm no native there so take that with some salt
