Blind followers of anything are the ones in the wrong. one isn't worse than the other, They are both just as bad
Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo all have their problems, but they still bring a smile to people's faces and that is what matters. Not this pointless, "my system is better than yours" crap that far too many gamers perpetuate. its not what this culture should be about.
I feel that it would work well, after all, Steam has it and it has caused a lot of revenue for Valve as well as supply very large libraries for gamers to enjoy.
@Alex_Boro
I think your chances are pretty good. Every Nintendo system I own still works like a charm. gotta love that Nintendium:)
Nintendo products have always been durable, except maybe the hinges on the DS, a good example for the Wii U is that it was the only 8th gen console not nearly as riddled with hardware issues at launch unlike the Xbox One's unfortunate Disc Drive problems and the PS4's bricked consoles that even reviewers received. As long...
they could put in some of the sages, popular goron and Zora characters, Et Cetera. I would love to roll around on my enemys as a Goron, or better yet use Fierce Diety Link
possibly, even if it has very low sales, it could still be profitable. Time will have to tell
to be fair, they have offered FTL quite a few times already.
True, but it seems that an easy means around such a system would be to create the simpler games that the Nintendo market would purchase.
Due to their simple nature, they would be a great deal cheaper in production than the games currently being made as well as opening up an entirely underused market. By no means should they cease with the creation of the typical AAA games that we have now, but instead create a sub branch that would deal with such games. with some good advert...
I have every intention to buy it as well as my friends.
Honestly, if that stereotype stays around for another generation it will only get worse. The thing is that the Nintendo consumer base, minus a few exceptions, is a completely different market. The kind of games that sell well on the other two consoles, your usual serious and typically movie-like games, aren't as popular as the light-hearted and jovial games that sell well on the Wii U. This is very much due to young ...
I doubt it very much, There would have been too much money invested into it already for them to up and quit. Especially after a four month delay, where they put even more money into it.
It was a rumor of Nintendo working on a new system that would rival the power of the Xbox One and PS4. Here's a link to the N4G page: http://n4g.com/news/1441089...
Hope this helps
The only way I could see a new system released without most of the backlash is if they gave free "fusions" to every Wii U owner. However the sheer amount of money this would cost is not worth it in any way, even if Nintendo is rich, and it would still make the investors upset.
This reminds me of drawing in my notebook, I kinda like it :)
Yeah it would be great for an MMO game, but it should be noted that the Massively Multiplayer Online market is very volatile. With many MMOs crashing and burning that showed a lot of promise. It is definitely a great idea, but I don't know if its the best thing right now
This may help but possibly not by much. What Nintendo needs to do is promote the games they have, and encourage the purchase of third party games. If Nintendo can get third party games sold, then support may start to blossom. As the biggest excuse by devs on making games for Wii U is that they don't sell
I'm also hoping that if the price cut is rather large, like 100 dollars cheaper, then Nintendo will offer a Wii U ambassador program like the 3DS
Most of gaming media is just blind console chauvinism hidden behind a wall, there are some good and fair media in there but its slipping away. This had led to the media basically being a part of the console war, which is really stupid as the "console war" is just trolls attacking each other. Since most gamers played Xbox 360, PS3, or PC last gen, Nintendo has lost most of their media supporters, and are thus taking most of the hits.
They don't have many writers ...
Man, I hope this comes to the Wii U! I'd love to see what they could do with the GamePad
Based on this: http://www.nintendo.com/gam...
The Wii U has 211 games coming or on the system currently, the issue with games hasn't been a thing for the past few months so I can understand that the belief is still prevalent. I urge you to give Mario 3D World a try. Its different from the typical games and is probably one of the...
I will. Now just need to decide which one...
Nintendo is running a "the Pitch" contest on their Youtube channel where fans pitch ideas on how to create a Wii U commercial that will help explain the console and the joys associated with it. the winner will have their pitch made into a full fledged commercial while runner ups recieve Wii U systems with various games.
Here is a link to it: http://www.youtube.com/user...

hmmm... typical foul-play by a rival company. I dislike this very much. If they really want to offer something like this, they should keep it within their own products. Which of course they would never do
