Touché. I'm very happy that both systems are being supported by the independent scene and that's good enough for me to be happy about my purchase of the Wii U. I'm sure you are also happy about the support your PS4 is getting.
Dev kit use on Wii U is free :)
In argument to that, the Wii U is getting a lot of indie support exclusive to the console, and I personally prefer indie over triple A. Indie is made with love
Oh that would be fantastic if we could exchange data between the two like in MH3U
I would much rather prefer the two to remain in market. I feel that innovation should have been the primary concern with all three consoles considering that I get most of the same performance off of a PC.
I'm sorry to throw that trump card but there it is. last gen the PS3 and 360 were more powerful than PCs and could thus deliver the best in visuals with the comfort of a controller. However now a gaming PC can not only produce better visuals, but also use controllers in ...
"What Will You Do When Time Dissolves itself?"
I would go about trying to help as many people as I possibly could
The Wii U launch was actually pretty good. It was sold out for as long as the PS4/XBO, until mid-january, it was the point afterwards that was bad.
its also curious that the Xbox 360 wasn't on there. With the horrid Red Ring of Death fiasco, Microsoft was sent back a lot of money, significantly cutting into their total sales. The whole 7th generation kinda had a bad start come to think of it.
I've heard good things from the Mario RPG. I think I'll try that out
If Nintendo can dish out this much Independent games throughout the console's life, then I'm perfectly fine with a low third party lineup.
A lot of these Indie games are looking fantastic. Like that Space Pioneer in the strategy section. It's still in Kickstarter but if the Wii U doesn't get No Man's Sky, this would be a welcome replacement.
I think I read somewhere that the dev kits were free use also. this is how you get the independents. If only Nintendo was this good with third parties...
I was always more of a fan of Sonic Adventure DX: Directors Cut than its sequel myself. The Free Roam with multiple characters and a story for each one was the best thing since sliced bread to my young mind when I first got it
I hope you enjoy your games, allow us to enjoy ours please
Exciting stuff! hope it'll be cool
Possibly, but I think Nintendo games would suffer big time. The reason they're so good is because Nintendo knows their hardware, just look at Sega once they went third party. Their game quality has dropped considerably since they started making games on other platforms, and now we haven't gotten a good sonic game in years, by review standards.
Also, Nintendo dropping out could be very bad for the industry, even Sony acknowledges this. Diversity is healthy.
TTYD was great. after that, the Paper Mario games started focusing less and less on story and more on gimmicks, like stickers, its really sad given that it was a great series. I hope they can go back to its roots.
please let this happen, I love the Monster Hunter series. I've invested far to much time into it as it is, this would just be the final nail in the coffin to make me a complete recluse.
There's a Nintendo of Canada?! I thought Nintendo of America was all of North America and not just the United States.
I wonder whats in the box, maybe its an announcement for games we have long waited for like Starfox or Metroid, but if that was the case it probably wold be coming from a Nintendo Direct. probably just some promotional items that'll be offered on Club Nintendo or in stores.
Sweet, I got a survey
I've been waiting for a Zelda ALTTP for a long time! Can't wait to play it!
Its not so much that, I think, though they indeed do that a lot. I'm very much a Nintendo fan, but I do view a club made for a single gender to be more detrimental to the unification of gamer genders than helping it. that in itself makes me rather sad as its one of the most foolishly childish traits this culture has.
The only way to end this sexism is to discourage its use, not to promote it. Even if it is an entirely positive atmosphere, it is still segregation.
