And that's gonna be the norm for many of these games that will release on gamepass I have the feeling beside forza.
I don't like service based games.. This one is a pass. Too much games that are far better still in backlog and little time already. God of War is still the best example of a proper release.
Well it is only half compared to Battlefield 1 in the same quarter and at a lower average price.
These analysts are also not that smart in their job. They usually look at numbers and define trends but if you don't understand the context than it is indeed a bad analysis. It's also funny how during holidays their sales slowed down a bit but still ended up being the biggest console supplier worldwide for the 5th or 6th year in a row. That is impressive on it's own
If you'd get at least the extra soundtrack packs with it it would be a good deal
Playstation profit has also been higher than those platforms so still the same result. Article talks about revenue which from an adoption rate and people investment to the platform perspective is a better metric.
You don't need Mark Cerny for any other emulation besides PS3 to be honest. Ps2 and ps1 is fairly simple on x86 hardware and the ps5 is very similar architecture. Only ps3 would be a challenge for him to take on.
Well same could be said by EA but they ruined every franchise acquired regardless of the talented devs.
NetEase... I guess they'll welcome micro transactions and all that kind of stuff and some cash grab mobile games.
DTS is the competitor of Dolby when it comes to surround output. They both actually are companies that provide systems for channeling, encoding and decoding sound.
There are various formats that both these companies provide for example DTS HD and Dolby Digital TrueHD. These containers have been upgraded to support aerial sound (360 degrees). You have Atmos and DTS:X doing the same thing.
DTS from my understanding is a cheaper or even free alternative an...
I don't want the game to be played faster. To me it's good as it is. Why do gamers always want gameplay to be faster and faster. No more patience.
Don't put faith in a sentence about an EA game. If there is one thing there trackrecord proves is that there will be issues. And that's unfortunate but EA doesn't learn. They like for people that have faith to buy immediately a full price copy, 99 dollar coin pack even when it's broken and that's crazy.
Problem is that EA uses betas as a means to sell pre orders. It's far too late in in the production cycle for it to be a beta to tackle anything but server load. Connectivity issues not related to max capacity with 4 weeks to go... And some bugs too. . Even then these issues are recurring for EA games so it's not as if they are learning from prior launches.
Anyway we'll see how it turns out. Might be EA's last chance to not become EA sports only.
Kudos to Guerilla Games! Amazing engine bringing amazing games as it should.
Also nicely written article. It's nice to see a proper background piece without pulling to any side but just present the story as it actually happened. Looking forward to more!
If they released the game with a well crafted progression system, more clone wars content without MT. And actually made a compelling story then this would have been a great game from the start. Every article reminds me of the potential which we'll never get from EA. @Disney, break contract now
I thought it was available at least in all European countries since it is the biggest gaming streaming service so quite surprised that a dozen or two dozen countries actually have access to the service. Great that it's expanding.
This was a demo available to play for the public who were able to judge for themselves. What you're trying to say is that it would be nice if that demo would release on the Playstation Store to try out.
and that included marketing. Also GTA V and RDR2 had similar budgets
Title is inaccurate. These are only about the most downloads. Although these games will be in a top 10 but if you count physical copies numbering might be different.
The problem is that these games will already come with limited content and the frequent content drops are mostly meager or too little too late. God of War is the GOTY example that companies should take inspiration of.
