Highest grossing and fastest selling PlayStation game. It probably sold more than the last 5 activision multiplatform games combined. And probably increased the value of spider man property a lot. The way I see it insomniac will do the second one as an exclusive for ps5.
I got an amd cpu and thus 3 months of free gamepass. Once those are over I won't be subscribed and was never planning to buy a gears 5 copy. Now I'm playing it for free. Haven't touched any of the other game pass games. Only age of empires defenitive edition and forza horizon 4 are interesting but have no time to play those.
There haven been 100 thousands of cpus and gpus that came with free game pass for 3 months and Gears 5 was the advertised game. Then we hav...
Just playing gears 5 on pc. Couldn't get through Gears 4 for some reason after enjoying the first and the third one. I think Gears 5 is a solid game that many will enjoy. Very optimized and visually quite good (haven't downloaded ultra textures yet). Still no fan of unreal engine as it does make some things feel a bit bland but they improved quite a lot here on dynamic environments compared to 4
I played gears 5 yesterday on gamepass. I got an amd cpu and thus 3 months free but have no desire in paying for gamepass.
A colleague of mine got a 5700 xt with a ryzen zen 2 cpu and got 6 months of gamepass. Even when ryzen zen 2 released they advertised gears 5 for free. Nice for customers : of course, revenue wise no idea how this stacks up.
Well some AiB will have an OC Boost up to 2GHz but the base is around 1800MHz for those versions.
They did have Arkham Knight in 2015 and Injustice 2 in 2017 which both were received and sold well. Maybe not huge surprises but still relevant.
Well there are cartridges with various sizes. Some distributors choose for 8GB or 16GB variants to save a literal buck. I'm guessing this one is using 32GB with lower textures, video and audio files.
That's because 90% of AAA announcement was CGI and familiar. They didn't even show age of empires 4 while they announced it. Flight simulator might be good but not sure how advanced it'll be since it's releasing on console too.
It's a reboot of the Modern Warfare franchise
The way it was phrases sounds like they're not even gonna push the files from their servers if you want to download lol. I guess those TB's allocated globally for these files are too expensive? This is BS
I have the game for over a year and today I finished my first endurance race. I already played quite a lot but last race was 4 months ago (due to backlog). I forgot how good the driving feels. Hopefully we can see GT7 on PS5 with all these cars plus another 200 or so added. Also curious if they'd add some sort of story mode while having the Sport mode too.
It's also the version with the least amount of bugs at launch.
It just plays so well and seems to become my favorite TW game. Although I enjoyed most of those.
Somewhere in 2018 it was reported that it sold over 17m copies so being somewhere around 20m a year later is plausible.
And in a few months the top 3 home consoles will only be PlayStation.
With
1. PS2
2. PS4
3. PS1
They could still remake Tenchu or some of those bad Spyro or Crash games on PS2. But I think they'll let it rest for a bit. Crash. Spyro and CTR are enough tog get going, throw them in bundles, give them some nice discounts during holidays and it would have earned quite some more over the coming months and years. If they handle any sequels it needs to he the same quality.
He probably means 5 worthwhile games
Not that long ago there was an article about with revenue about the top gaming companies stating sony earned in 2018 14b dollars with its game business. The official numbers are closer to 20b dollars. That means they are tied number 1 with Tencent I guess instead
450m dollars by 2023 while only Sony had 14b dollars of gaming revenue in 2018 does say a lot about the power of non cloud services. Non cloud will be the way to go for the upcoming 15 years (another 2 console generations) at least or even more before it becomes really relevant in some way
What's the problem if people move on to another game. Play the meaningful games you desire that are worth your time. Else you'll only touch upon a very small library and miss out on much. I played 20 rounds of Apex and that's it. It's a good game. It was fun but now I need to continue persona 5, Rdr2. Soon I'll be playing anno 1800 and days Gone. And about other service games. I skip them because of the lack of content or quality or the forceful micro transaction behavior....
Actually they talk about predictive button presses. So Stadia predicts what you'll press to mitigate lag. If stadia was bad for gaming than this is even worse. There is no value in knowing that the computer did all the work in playing your games.
