Sacred 2 had not so great ratings, and I loved that game. So I will give it the benefit of the doubt hehe ;).
Castlestorm was already free on the XB1, so that is a wash, but I am pleased with the other titles! I have been dying to play Sacred 3 (even though I hear it is pretty bad) because I thoroughly enjoyed Sacred 2. I have been wanting to play Thief as well. All of these are games I have wanted to try, but didn't really want to buy, so this list works out great for me!
Wow, this list missed pretty much everything.. The author obviously did not do his research (at all). The Witcher is 24.99 (19.99 GCU), GOW: Ultimate is 19.99 (15.99 GCU), MGS: Phantom Pain is 34.99 (27.99 GCU), Diablo is 19.99 (15.99 GCU), Borderlands Handsome is 24.99 (19.99 GCU), Evolve is 14.99 (11.99 GCU, The Evil within is 14.99 (11.99 GCU), Dark Souls 2 is 19.99 (15.99 GCU), Forza 6 is 34.99 (27.99 GCU), etc. etc. ALL from Best Buy.
I am thankful for both the PS4 AND the Xbox One (the PC and Wii U are pretty great too). Take that fan boys ;).
I met the Director and Head Art Director at PAX and they are great guys! I have high hopes for this game :).

This is a pretty decent list. My personal favs from the 360 generation are Halo 3, Lost Odyssey, Oblivion/Skyrim, Crackdown, MW2, Left 4 Dead, Tales of Vesperia, Bastion and Kung Fu High Impact (Kinect game). There were so many good games last generation that I could probably add at least another 10 to my "favs" list hehe.
Yeah I know that some of the stuff in the review is sold separately and not included and such, but the overall aesthetics of the game are very similar. I couldn't pass up the $30 price tag anyhow haha.
I just bought this game 10 minutes ago (thanks to BB's early BF deals) so this review came at the perfect time! I am excited for the updated ToyBox, and to try the Speedway and Splatoon modes as well!
...Best Buys game selection is always a tiny bit more expensive because they factor in that a lot of customers will have GCU (which gives you an extra 20% off new games). If you have GCU (which stacks with sales and clearance and BF deals) then you actually get Disney Infinity 3.0 for 32.99 on BF. So for the majority of BB game-related customers who have GCU (if you don't, you should really, really consider it) Disney Infinity would actually be 32.99, which is cheaper than Target.
I was lucky enough to go to the Active Time Report at PAX Prime, and also talk with the director and art director at PAX. I had many qualms about FFXV going into the ATR, but a lot of what I feared was smoothed over by what I learned. I still have some fears, but here are a few things that pertain to your above fears:
1. The characters all wear black because they are in mourning. The guys are going on a road trip after one of the main characters fathers die. I wasn't able...
I have been perfectly happy with my Xbox One since I bought it back in March '14. I like the interface, I enjoy Kinect, and, most importantly, I have enjoyed practically every game I have bought or borrowed. I do plan on getting a PS4 next year (probably around the time Persona 5 is slated to come out). I think both consoles are great; the XB1 definitely had a rockier start, but I have never regretted my purchase. Just buy the console that has more exclusives you want, or just buy both. T...
They have already announced more games are going to be released in December...they also said some fan favorites would be included. Patience is a virtue; good things come to those who wait! :P
I sort of like that they are taking their time releasing certain titles...if they released every great game I wanted in November, I would be really dissatisfied going forward. With them releasing a few games I want to play/replay every month, it gives me time to finish the ones I want to play, keeps me excited to see what surprises come the following month and also doesn't max out my backlog. Overall, I think Microsoft was smart with their BC strategy (so far at least).
@SolidGear "I won't even try that until it's $10 because to me it looks budget and over-bloated..." So, you watched some people play on Twitch and just assume it is a bad game? I haven't played MGS5 or Fallout 4, but I certainly wouldn't judge a game I've never played...just because it "looks" bad doesn't mean it is. Maybe try playing it before you nag on it.
@hades07 You literally hit it right on the nail. @Ben_Rage_3 and @Starchild ...seriously? Because this guy mentions that he is super excited for Tomb Raider (Xbone timed exclusive) and Uncharted (PS4 exclusive) it comes off as "fanboyish"? I didn't realize liking both systems was fanboyish. Man, this new generation and being butt-hurt about LITERALLY everything and anything.
I think people underestimate how many people could potentially pick up both games...especially with all the "Buy a console get a free game" going on, and the B1G1 free Target deal.
Haha! Well, if this review was about Skyrim or Oblivion, I'd probably be pulling on my witch-hunting gear as we speak ;).
Haha this is awesome. I am personally waiting for the GOTY edition (especially with all these bug rumors circling around) but I love those guys at Bethesda. Happy gaming everyone!
Just meh for me this month. But, hey it is free so I can't really complain! I am planning on getting Kings quest on XB1 for the BF deal, but heck I'll play ep. 1 on both systems! Why not! I wish they would do another Gauntlet in the style of Dark Legacy...that is still my favorite Gauntlet to this day. So good!
