I binge-played Until Dawn with my friend while I was on vacation and it was fantastic! I can't wait to play through it again next year (and hopefully have more than 3 people survive hah). Thanks for the list!

D4 is a little gem. I love it. I'm surprised that Ori isn't included on your list.

Do you have a PS4? If so, what console exclusives would you recommend? As an X1 owner looking to get a PS4 late next year, I am trying to build up a list.

For someone who has played the original, the main thing I am worried about is the immersion factor. Having to wait a few nail biting seconds to change disks is completely different than having to wait months or years for the next chapter. I might just end up waiting for the all the chapters to be released before I decided to play this game.

Oh I totally get the having to choose. Tough stuff. I didn't play SingStar either, I just remember it being huge haha.

Good list. Singstar should be included as well, just because of how much of a cultural phenomenon it was. My favorite "S" PS2 games (not including ones listed) were Star Wars Battlefront 2, Sly Cooper, Shadow Heart games and Suikoden games.

Budget gaming for everyone! Now is the time to pick up either console (or borh)...there are great things coming to for both systems in 2016!

I am planning on getting a PS4 next year, because of all of the exclusives coming out. I am hoping for a Persona 5 or Horizon: New Dawn special edition console that is actually cool looking (since all the other SE PS4 consoles have looked like crap), but either way I am getting one. I will happily play my Xbox One until then. Now, I just need to find time to play both hmm....

Cuphead is so, so, so good. Incredibly hard, but great and addicting game play. Plus, it is true one system co-op!

I am just going to point out that the idea of any GOTY edition is that...

1) The game has been out for a while
2) It has DLC and/or sequels
3) It is time to group everything together and resell it to increase sales

...so your idea of a "minimum $180" makes no sense. That might (unfortunately) make sense if you buy all the "episodes" individually, but no way that a GOTY edition or collection would be priced that ridiculous...

These are good questions to ask. I also have been wondering about the entire casino, and whether that will still be included (I hope it is). Personally, I don't think that Aerith should be revivable. As much as I hated to lose her (and then get awesome weapons for her after she was dead >:[) it was a vital part of the story, and one of the biggest twists in video game history.

I had such high hopes for this remake, but it seems like with every announcement they get sm...

Gah I forgot to download some of the Disney classics from last week. Sad day :(.

Wait...you mean that a product with the apple on it isn't selling good?! Blasphemy! ;)

Right?! I am really interested in the design aspects myself.

Oh crap, yeah. Haha whoops.

Oh, you make a good point. I forgot that they made people buy it in the beginning...probably not the best move, but at least it didn't take them to long to rectify.

Lost Odyssey 2 would make my life.

The Xbox One announcement was definitely a disaster, but I personally think it has been a solid machine ever since it was physically released. It had been nice to watch it grow and become more accepting by the general public. I have had mine since March 2013, and have enjoyed every minute of it. I just wish it had more Kinect support....yes, I realize I am the only one who wants this hah. I love my Kinect (and it loves me, I have literally never had a problem with it working for me) what can ...

Hah! What bothers me even more than the potential monetary investment into these "episodes" is the loss of immersion. Having to start a story this amazing and intense, and then stop partway through? Hell to the no. I'll just wait for the "Definitive Edition" I guess.

The main issue I have with this is that releasing the game in multiple episodes/games will have an effect on being immersed into the world. What drew me so into the original was the full story and the world, and everything in between. If this game is released in episodes, it will have a negative impact on being able to be fully immersed, at least until all the episodes are out. To be honest, if they do go this episodic route (which is most likely seems like they are) then I will most likely w...

No, no, no. How about releasing the remake we have all been waiting for, and then maybe releasing episodic series that explore each character more (to give you a richer back story)? I'd be ok with that, but if the actual remake is going to be episodic...well then, I can't even describe how incredibly disappointed I am going to be.
