Don't get my hopes up dammit! I still own my original, and still play it to this day. So good.
As long as you realize that you will also have to buy the 12+ other games that come out in the next decade. It's a MMO, so they will constantly be adding "expansions"...this also means that to still play the game at a good level, you will have to buy all said expansions.

Collections is a hard one for me. I believe that Rare Replay should be included because it is a compilation of 35 classic games; I do not think that Uncharted should be included because it is a collection of 3 games from the last generation (and they removed the MP on top of that). An actual extensive compilation/collection should be included, but not one that was just thrown together to get people ready for Uncharted 4. I just thought, for arguments sakes it would be better to leave them bot...
@macaak No, Ori is a XB1 console exclusive. I don't think that any re-releases or HD remakes should be included on this list. They aren't really exclusives, and all the did was update the visuals. Just saying.

I personally don't think that HD remakes should be included in this list. The game and story were already made; all that had to be done was update the visuals. So, if we take out GOW3, Journey, Uncharted, Rare Replay, State of Decay and Gears, then the average score for Xbox is actually a fraction higher than PS4. So what does that teach us? Absolutely nothing, because both systems are great. On another note, Until Dawn deserves a much higher score. Critics, what is wrong with you lot?!
To this day, The Suffering is still the freakiest game I have ever played. I jumped around every corner on my first play through. It's a travesty it never makes it on lists like this...it really deserves to.
Hoping there are a few good indie games on sale too...I have been waiting to pick a few up!
I still love both my 360 and XB1 Kinects. People can hate them all they want, but Kung Fu: High Impact was one of the most fun games of the last generation. So good.
Nowadays, it seems like quite a few CE are being mass produced. Have you seen the price cut for the Halo Collectors on Amazon? Craziness. However, this particular bundle is very hard to find outside of the Square store, so it is a pretty good value for anyone who was still wanting to pick one up.
Unfortunately, they also make you enter in a credit card on the Microsoft website. On your console, you can use Live points without having to enter a credit card. So not only is it easier, it is safer. Oh, the things you learn, right @Halo2ODST2?
I have a feeling MS has a lot of games ready for BC, but they are being smart about it. If they release all the good games at once then they would have nothing to keep the momentum going. By releasing only a few good games every month, they keep the excitement up and keep the general public satisfied. It's a smart marketing move. I don't mind it because it keeps my replay/need to finish backlog from getting way too out of control ;).
As long as we get a few decent games every month, I am good. I want Bioshock too! If they release 3-4 every month that I want to finish/replay, my backlog won't get too horribly out of control hehe.

I realize the controller is nowhere near final, hence why I said "I just don't understand this controller YET." However, I will probably give the console a few years anyway...with the way the Wii U has had such a short shelf life (with an incredibly small amount of games compared to other Nintendo systems) Nintendo is going to have to show me this system is going to have longevity before I pour money into it. It will be fun watching it all come together though!
Personally, I'll wait for the GOTY edition to play Battlefront. A pretty lame week for deals, hopefully there will be some good ones next week!
I got it at this price with my Bing rewards points earlier in the month...it is SO worth it so far, and I've only played one episode of The Wolf Among Us haha!
