I played this at PAX and absolutely loved it.
I've only played longer ones, such as King's Quest, but that would definietly be frustrating. I prefer to play the game when the full season has been released. I couldn't even imagined playing Until Dawn in episodes...that would have been a real buzz killer haha.
I actually had never thought about the effect episodic gaming could have on immersion because I always seem to wait until the full season is released before I start playing. However, I don't see how it is any different (or less immersive) than a book series. I will start a book series and fianlly finish it 4 years later (reading the books as they are released) and every time I pick up a new book I will still find myself as immersed in the world as I was before, if not more immersed.
I already don't trust this "reviewers" opinion because he/she starts off the article with "Bloodborne is an excellent gameplay". If you are going to write professionally, at least use proper grammar. Thanks.

I see where you are coming from, but with the custom paint job and sounds, I guess I deem the price worth it. Then again I got it for a stellar price (the joy of being an insider) so I am being a little biased haha ;).
That is a lie, at least until Dec. 31st for Gears of War. If you buy this console bundle (via a normal bundle) in a sense you do get Fallout 4 for free. On top of that, by buying GOW before Dec. 31st, you get free downloads of the original GOW games as added bonuses. Yes, you buy the new game, but it is true that the extras are free.
I think the digital code was a huge fail (especially when a CE steelbook is included!) but luckily Microsoft is giving people 2 weeks to swap their unused digital codes for physical disks.
It comes with the Collectors Edition of the Halo game...so, 1 TB console at $399.99 + CE of Halo 5 for $99.99 = why this console is the price it is. Just saying.
Getting this, setting up the console, and then quickly sending out my digital code to get my physical copy. I don't want no steelbook with nothing in it hah.
To this day, Tales of Vesperia is still my favorite. It was so darn epic.
I am fully ok with this. If people don't want to take the time to play the game (or don't have the time) this gives them the option to make things go quicker. I don't mind when gaming companies decide to do micro-transactions to speed things up and/or for physical alterations (special mounts, costumes, etc.), BUT when a microtransaction can change the whole course of a game or give someone an unfair advantage then I have some major issues.
Oh crap, I forgot that Activision has Crash. Well, maybe a spiritual rebirth then instead. I am excited for Yooka-Laylee, but would really like to see a Crash-Bandicot/Spyro-ish platformer as well. I would also enjoy seeing a Jak and Daxter 4...but maybe I am hoping for too much haha.
As much as love Uncharted, I hope this "end of an era" for Nathan Drake leads to a rebirth for Crash Bandicoot. Please, oh please.

Calm down people! It isn't always about Playstation vs. Xbox...sometimes it is a *legitimate* (albeit badly stated) joke!
I don't mind microtransactions when they are cosmetic. So you want a new pretty digital helmet? Go right ahead and buy it. When the microtransactions starts affecting gameplay, however, then I have real issues. I have a lot of reservations about micro-transactions in Halo, but I'm still willing to give it a shot and see how it all turns out.
Well, this will come in handy for when I buy my PS4 next year.
