@WickedLester I see what you're saying. I mean reading reviews and using them as one source to make an informed decision is fine. But, do you know what I find amusing? When someone writes "That seems way to low a score for a Fallout game." If you are going to read a review, don't nag on it just because you don't agree with it! Or, at least if you are going to disagree make sure you have a) Actually played the game and b) Make a cohesive case for why you disagree.
Why is this comment getting so many disagrees? I mean, the OP is literally just stating his excitement for this game and Uncharted. What is wrong with all you naysayers?!
The list isn't what I expected, but it is nice to know they have some great games waiting in the pipelines. I don't mind waiting; my backlog is already incredibly long anyhow!
We can all play it ourselves and make our own opinions ...love it, like it or hate it, every person is entitled to their own opinion, so don't rag on this guys for giving his.
Of course everyone should play the game themselves to make up their own mind...if you are letting reviewers make up your mind, you have bigger problems. I respect the writer for giving the score he believes in, but I don't expect it to sway my own personal thoughts on the game.
From the developers themselves. However, it was fairly early on in the process, so if they have now changed both the PS4 and Xbone games to physical disks that is even better! I have also asked Midgar about the Xbone issues above, and they said they are actually pretty upset about how this interviewer wrote the article. They told him a lot about the lore and world and gameplay, but the interviewer chose to focus on the negative. They also told me it is still very early on in the process and t...
I kickstarted this and was thinking about getting the XB1 version, but might opt for the PS4 version now. The collectors edition only comes with a physical disk if you get the PC versions (unless they have changed this, but I haven't heard anyting), the PS4 and Xbone versions are dnl codes. So I am thinking about getting PC for my collectors and PS4 for normal, but we'll see.
Scuf controllers have been readily available for years for $100 or so more. I don't own a fancy controller (yet, I do have my eyes on the Elite it is quite nice) and I still do pretty well for myself in multiplayer rooms. I get what you are saying...but the controller won't change the fact that you have to have some skill to actually be good at a shooter MP game. The controller might make it easier to do certain things, but it won't just give the player skills they didn't alre...
So glad that I can now play a larger portion of my Microsoft collection all on one console!
Did Musterbrand forget that girls play Halo? Seems so.
I love how Sony and Microsoft are really focusing on giving us the "greatest line-ups in gaming history". It has almost became a war to see who will come out "on top", with the battles being fought at various conferences. As far as I am concerned, it is a win-win for me. Looks like I am going to have to start saving now...there are an abundance of awesome looking games coming next year and beyond!
It makes absolutely no sense for Bethesda to have released it early, considering that only Preview members would be able to access it. The whole idea is that you BUY Fallout 4 and you get Fallout 3 for "free". Why would they lose the potential added revenue benefit by adding it early?
A Diablo 2 HD remaster would be so, so, so, so, so amazing.
Even though I know you can bring your choices over form Season 1, I think it is slightly ironic that the XB1 has Walking Dead Season 1 for free, and the PS4 has Seasons 2. So for those of us that own both systems...huzzah!
Dungeon Siege 3 is not a great game, but it is super fun. I enjoyed it my first play around, and am excited to be able to play it trying other characters now!
I am excited, but still bummed that we have to wait for 2.8, and then most likely 2.9( which I am assuming is going to be a complitation of 1.5, 2.5 and 2.8. Maybe). *sigh* I just want KH3 already okay?!?!
Oh, I know. Hence the "one can dream" and winky face...I sure do hope to see Lost Odyssey at some point though. Even though it is a first party title, there has been speculation over whether or not it would make it over...it is on four disks after all hehe.
Why not just make it easy on yourselves Microsoft and make every X360 game backwards compatible? One can dream...;)
Cuphead is amazing (super hard but so, so good). Fable is fun, as long as you keep in mind that it is NOTHING like the other Fables. Other than the art style and world, the actual gameplay is a seemingly original multiplayer experience.
I actually don't think broken means "unplayable" personally. Anything that is broken can be fixed. I think "junk" or "total waste" would be much better terms to use, if you really consider something "unplayable".
