Much deserving. This game was so simple in design and music, and yet utterly and profoundly beautiful and moving. I don't mind admitting I had tears in my eyes within the first 5 mins heh.
The DS will always be the defining point for me in handheld gaming. It was something new. I loved my Gameboy, my GB Color, my GB Advance etc. but the DS was a completely new design. I remember being blown away by the touch pad back in the day. I absolutely love the 3DS, but for me the original DS was my "wow" moment in handheld gaming.
You are the second person to say something about Split/Second, so I am definitely going to check that one out! I played TS1 and enjoyed it back in the day, so I will probably give TS2 a try. Thanks!
The Persona games on the P3 tend to drop to 5 quite often, but the PSP versions rarely go below 14.99.
I just watched a YouTube video and it looks pretty good. I might check it out. Thanks!
I haven't played most of the Disney games on sale, but A Bug's Life was great. Anyone play any of the others? Any good ones?
The difference is PSVR and Oculus (PC) are made specifically for gaming; HoloLens isn't. Even though it debuted at E3, Microsoft has said from the beginning that they see the Lens being used in all sorts of industries. Microsoft already has their VR set with the deal they made with Oculus; HoloLens is something different. Whether it will be good or bad, I have no idea, but I will gladly watch the project develop.
While HoloLens is going to be very cool for gaming, I know that Microsoft is making it to use in numerous industries. Gaming, architecture, design, science, etc. etc. I like that they are trying to make something that can be used in all facets of your everyday life; it is an interesting little device, and I am excited to see where the project goes.
"Companies shouldn't force their critics who hate certain genres to play them"...How is someone supposed to know if the game "fits them" unless they play it? The reviewer doesn't say anywhere in his review that he hates these kind of games anyhow. The WHOLE POINT of reviewing a game is to give your honest opinion (not that that always happens) whether that be good or bad. I have seen a myriad of reviews, both good and bad on this game. Don't judge someone's...
I admire these guys for having the balls to make that statement. I hope their product lives up to their words!
@bleedsoe9mm Even on BF the whole King's Quest is only around 29.99/39.99 I believe. It is still a really new game, and each chapter is about 3x as long (if not longer) than a typical Telltale Game. I understand the frustration (the PS4 picks this month are pretty mediocre) but having the KQ season pass (when only 1 episode is out as of now) would just be wayyyy too costly for Sony to make a deal. If Sony is smart, they will have a good freebie game during the Sony Experience next week, a...
I love Zelda. I had planned on getting a Wii U when Zelda came out, but I will probably wait for the inevitable "HD remake" or what not that is bound to come out on the NX. We'll just have to see how this all plays out.
I am a little behind in this years games, but from everything I have seen or read I think GOTY is going to be between Witcher and Bloodbourne for sure.
Hey now, I just got my PS3 earlier this year and I've been enjoying the releases for both systems :).
Let's just say my work has some nice perks ;)
While the Order: 1886 didn't have much going for it, the visuals were absolutely astounding. Glad to see it made it on this list.
For me, the only way to actually beat a game is 100% completion. If it ain't 100%, it isn't beat.
My little sister is going on this cruise in a week...she'll have a blast!
It's only Chap. 1, so if you like it buy the full game! Sierra is amazing :)
We still have some at my Best Buy, so I wouldn't say it is sold out quite yet.
