I, personally, do not agree at all. I found the whole conference to be awkward and disjumbled. They would show a random clip and then say nothing about it...or a guy would appear on stage and say something awkward like "that was not part of the script" or "they told me to try to look excited" (I seriously hope this was just a mishap on the interpreters part). I understand that when DLC is release, especially for MMOs, it sometimes makes it hard to please everyone. Certain weekly and daily goals may include content that is only included on the new DLC, which would obviously make it inaccesible to those who do not own the DLC. I played Cuphead at PAX and it is insanely awesome. I cannot wait to play the completed version!
Considering that we still don't have a concrete date for KH3, it should be easy to wait until this one drops to pick it up. I want to play it, but I'd prefer to play it closer to the KH3 release. Also, since this is "2.8" it won't surprise me if Square Enix decides to release YET ANOTHER game before KH3, aka KH 2.9.
I love this series, but if this does happen I don't mind admitting I will be royally pissed off.
I am actually super happy about the delay. It gives me more time to get a PS4, plus there are so many title coming out this holiday season! It will be nice to play a nice polished game next summer than a rushed one now!

All anyone can seem to talk about on this board is how the sales "aren't hot"...you guys do realize that sales for PS4 and Xbone are up significantly from the last generation, somewhere around 45%. Both companies are doing great, making money and releasing new games. Microsoft isn't going anywhere (come on now guys, MS is a significantly larger company) and neither is Sony. Enjoy one or enjoy both. Just enjoy them for crying out loud!!
I highly, highly doubt PS4 will ever have backwards compatibility like the Xbox is getting. The physical software between the PS3 and PS4 are worlds apart. I'm sure we'll see more digital BC from Sony as time goes on, but the physcial disk capabilities are going to be all Microsoft for this gen.
I am confused by some of these comments...Persona 5 has always been a reality. We're just waiting on the actual release date. I am hoping this year, but if they have to delay it then they have to. I have high expectations for Persona games, don't let me down Atlus!!
I was still hoping for some information. The video game compilation at the beginning of the conference showed both Persona 5 and KH3, along with a whole bunch of other games that weren't even mentioned. Why even show a game you aren't going to mention? It is very deceiving.
I tried this at PAX, it was definitely fun. Particularly great for people who have never played the games. Once agian though, it is just another HD collection. Don't get me wrong, I love playing some of my old favorites on the newer systems. But it is the new games, particularly the new IP's, that will get me to buy the systems.
Yeah, that comment did crack me up. Also, when the one guy was like "I cannot tell you the release date. That part was not in the script, but no I cannot say". There were come good comedic moments hehe.

I was extremely disappointed. The only games they showed that I was even partially interested in are a) Japan exclusives or b) coming out on the PS3 as well. What really angered me was the lack of information on Persona or KH3...instead they announce a new KH remix to just try to suck fans dry. I mean really? Wow. Obviously they screwed something up on KH3, so they are having to delay it, thus they are trying to placate fans with this KH2.8 crap. Other than that, the conference was super jumb...

You sound like you are set then. I went in knowing absolutely nothing (I mean nothing) about that game and came out really enjoying it. I didn't have any expectations either. Well, I hope you like it!

I do have all the expansions, I bought the season pass. I just didn't play it regularly. I didn't even discuss the gameplay or expansion above, or as you like to call it "defend the game on N4G". Instead, I am saying that the practice of shutting people out (literally days after the new game released) just seems like a surefire way to piss off fans that may not have been able to pick up the expansion yet.
