As one guy from N4G commented, SE is fastly becoming the EA of Japan. They get money constantly that they don't mind already how good or crappy their games are.
Sometimes crossovers work, sometimes they don't.
As said so many times, It's a new IP. You shouldn't compare it to blockbuster sequels. It will sell progressively perhaps in small numbers, unlike the latter which could be sold out in just a matter of days.
Remember ICO? Though it was critically acclaimed , it did not sell in great numbers. All I know it was a great game that I played.
Bottomline: Everyone should just play and enjoy a great game, and do away with the numbers. Leave that problem to the developers and...

Too early to tell. There's plenty to consider: KZ2, GOW3, etc. There is no need to debate on this as of the moment. GOTY 2008 hasn't even been decided yet. My money's on MGS4 though. Instant Classic.

That's true. I wonder why Sony and Insomniac wanted R2 to come out the same week as GeoW2, if the former only in NA while the latter worldwide. They could've just planned for a worldwide release.
The truth is I'm not bothered at all if GeoW2 sales beats R2 sales by a huge amount. Kudos to people who got their hands on R2 and Gears2 first. I just want to have my own copy. I'll just have to wait then.

I'm not whining about how SE is growing up into one major developing tycoons in the gaming industry. It's just good for business in pure sense. What I do not get is, how come SE, despite being endowed with these monetary opportunities, have failed as of the moment to even come close to creating the epic games they did before.
