indeed. and i hope i could whack some monster again and see the damage go beyond 9999. id love to see the damage cap go.
more icing on the cake. certainly appreciated from Konami.
Honestly, I think this guy's review is more exhausting, heavy-handed and uncompromising than Kojima's narrative.
edit: Miles "Tails" Prower is a boy. I stand corrected.
Thanks for correcting me. Yup Miles Prower is a he. Sorry guys.
I'd have to say Lang from Conflict: Denied Ops comes in at first. He beats out his partner Graves by a straw. (Such awful characters from an equally awful game.)
There's Tails from Sonic the Hedgehog 2. (She can't keep up with Sonic in coop mode...)
There's Quina from FF9. (Annoyingly stupid)
There's Raiden from MGS2. (He had to be androgynous and not so slick like Solid.)
And there's Desmond Miles from Assassin's Creed. (A bartender...
what do you expect? its a masterpiece...
Based from what I read from one of the articles posted here in N4G, "timed" exclusives (e.g. Bioshock) are ideal for both concerned parties; in this case Sony and MS. Paying a large sum for the "full" exclusivity of a game is almost always a gamble, for the game might not be a hit as it was initially hoped for.
Paying for full exclusivity for a sure-hit, such as MGS4, is a different case. For instance, Sony would benefit from the increase in PS3 sales from peo...
Bad reviews, low scores, or whatsoever. They won't stop me from getting the game day 1.
In my opinion, FFXII, besides having weaker storyline and less intiguing characters as compared to FFX, suffered also from issues that made it a weaker installment. Yes, they introduced an amazing battle system that may be the blueprint for the next installments, but the game had rendered most key FF elements useless. The quickenings , even with those awesome animations, are almost useless. The espers seemed to be just game completion elements. I can't even compare how much useful black magi...
The only difference I see are the release dates. To lessen my worries, I'll just be getting them both.
Agreed. We already knew beforehand that the game's gonna be loaded with a lot of cutscenes. Moreover, we already were aware that Kojima's passion for storytelling have rendered almost,if not all, the MGS games packed with lengthy cut-scenes and intense dialogues. Guns of the Patriots is no different. Having these supposed chunks of "fillers" in the game shall by no means be a deterrent to those who have staunchly followed the MGS saga. Besides, this might be your last chance to play...
well put korn. Cheers!
I know it would take a long time to develop an RPG. I just don't get it for the case of the JRPG developers who seem to wait until FFXIII comes out. Why not take advantage of the situation where there are still a few RPG's out there? I mean why would you wait until the supposed yardstick of JRPG's comes out...
In every market there is competition. Monopoly rarely exists. Competition in actuality render customers (in this case, gamers) as the primary beneficiaries. How? Simple: It affects the productivity of all the console developers in a good manner and for the best cause. In other words, they compete to bring out the best product for the consumers.
Consequently, for a gamer, this MS-Sony-Nintendo slugfest would result to lower prices, better hardware, more innovations, better perks a...
I dished out a hefty price for my PS3, and I once felt that the price was insanely unreasonable. All I know, sans all the glitters, my console is working just fine.
Adding insult to injury indeed.
Agreed. In my opinion, I can't see any reason why Xbox fans would get miffed because of this rumor. Most likely they already played and enjoyed the game. Then let the others play and enjoy too. :)
Well at least the Gamepro dude described to us the actual controls and a few things about KZ2's gameplay. And there's this confirmation about the game's uber awesome graphics. For now, I'll just take it from the guy who actually played some part of the early levels.
Agreed. It's almost inevitable to the point that it gets out of hand; but that is a sign that the gaming industry is alive and competitive---just like the other industries. If the marketing minds of Marvel/Sony Pictures could hype Spiderman the Movie and manage to put the superhero's face in our soda cans, then might as well let the guys from Bungie/MS do it and put Master Chief's pic on our Pepsi's too. If they're talking too much about how good of a director Scorsese is, then is it bad if w...
