Simple: It's just pointless to be one.
There's no need for this game to surpass some other game. All it needs is to surpass my expectations, and seemingly it will. Cheers!
Indeed. It deserves the hype. The only thing on our minds right now is if it will "live up to" the hype, and I'm guessing it will.
The major things that I wouldn't agree with are MGS4 @ a measly number 14. GTAIV at the 2nd spot, slot and R2 not even cracking the 30th slot. But then again, this is EDGE's list. Its not ours.
FFXII anyone? Just joking. Anyway, PS3's got Versus, if SE keeps their word (See first sentence.)
@ Omega - I see your point. Currently there is no major non-spinoff SE franchise on the PS3.
Hmm... IMHO if there ever was one flagship SE game on the PS3, I would want something better than KH though.... More kick-a$s to be precise....
If there's any truth to this, I'd still love SE to death. Not.
Couldn't have said it better Fishy.
Again Naughty Dog seems to be doing an excellent follow-up on the "facial-expression" department.
@ CoolFool
Good point. If you are "ultimately" contented with what you bought, there is no need to justify why you chose it over the other.
The sad thing though, I'm assuming several people fall into that category you were saying. Constantly justifying your purchase to an unreasonable extent could either mean you just love your console badly, or you can't just afford the other.
Let's admit it. if we had all the money in the world, we'd get both consoles. Perhaps the wii too...
I feel the chill when I read the preview page by page. The game has surely improved since E3 2005. February is nearing....
@ Thor
That's really nice to hear. When I played Uncharted 1, I really wanted to smack those pirates with a machete or something when I ran out of ammo...
Agree with Final_RPG. When you're running out of ammo, its where the adrenaline pumps fast.
Btw, since you're talking about that already, maybe ND could introduce weapons besides firearms. That'd be a nice addition.
This poll is based on the games' performance in Gamespot's "review" and not performance in "sales".
Dude, the world doesn't end when you step outside US.
Phil Harrison once said during the PS3 UK launch on why Europe is the key to "console success": "It's got most countries, it's the most people, it's the most cultures..."
And btw, if Japan isn't an important market for the console industry, why in the world would MS still bother to "up" their console sales there? ---though they knew pretty much how horrible their product fared in tha...

I truly agree with you. I am a heavy user of Autodesk products and am stuck with PC all the way. I bet several others too. I hope Autodesk would offer native Mac OS versions of their software. As soon as these programs become genuinely and perfectly compatible with the other OS, a lot of people might jump to Macs soon.
Oh I see. Thanks for the enlightenment buddy. I thought the sentence was poorly constructed.
Nifty. Lol. He replaced the X logo on the dome with the PS logo.
" Sony, decided to make so many strategic and tactical mistakes and to basically throw away their market dominance"
How can mistakes be "strategic and tactical"?
That's why they termed it as "fanboy" and not a "fan".
There's something "mature" in a fan, whereas there's something "childish" in a fanboy.
A true fan thrives in an open social community, while a fanboy is contented discretely messing around metacritic scores online.
Being a fan is constructive fun, while being a fanboy is pure self-indulging crap.
Comparing a sports "fan" to a "fanboy" is completely ridicul...
