Sucks when people are behind on technology and you can't really convince them they need to upgrade, but would it even be comfortable or possible to get really immersed in the game there, anyway?
edit: not that it will be super buggy on release, but you'll at least some of them will be ironed out and you'll have a cleaner experience.
Looks great. I finished the game on Wii and partiall on PS3. need to finish it on Quest 2, probably over half way in and it's a great VR experience.
Well it's releasing on PS4 too...
Had to replace too many PS4 controllers, not because of someone with the left stick just wouldn't register a full forward, it was a complete nightmare in FPS games and noticeable in TPS too, I've tried everything short of replacing the stick.
Replacement sticks are $20 each.
Same, and as a kid it seemed worthless to me once I was done with them. but as an adult I think why the hell would I get rid of these relics of a the great eras in video games, they take only a fraction of space some other junk I keep do.
Played the crap out of the demo disc. It's where I discovered Spyro, Medieval, Crash, Tekken, Tony Hawks, Tenchu(I think), Tomba!, damn I know there's a few others.
I figure it was less with those gens because the incompatibility of the architectures. But still I think they developers have to design around the weakest denominator.
Same here, have Chivalry on PS5, but it's a multiplayer game and wouldn't mind trying it on PC, it's pretty fun.
Yeah his face looks better, but on the next comparison :48, it's weird, his suit and the building under him(with the cross) and the one he's leaning on looks noticeably more defined or higher res on PC, but the two buildings further in the distance are obviously more detailed on the PS5. I think PS5 is just more consistent while PC is putting more detail/res on closer objects.
I had a few gripes about it, but I'd put it at a solid "enjoyable, well crafted", or a solid 7. I don't know what it's trying to be, a stealth game, a puzzler, a combat driven. It did each okay when it came down to it, but most of the time it never felt "free", spaced too much by dialogue/forced interactions and segments with no real freedom, relying on the tools it just introduced or allowed by material availability scarcely spread throughout the area, whe...
Ubi and companies a like think playable hours = value, the more the better. And while their worlds are generally well crafted, they still feel empty and not engrossing, chorey. I often prefer linear or more contained world games these days, just for the sake of my backlog perhaps, but even Halo Infinites open worldish attempt is so much better than Ubi's bang for buck style with microtransactions.
Cid?
It should reduce any FPS drops, though.... are you still experiencing anything like that?
I just wish Sony would just release an upgraded handheld, maybe not put so much into R&D, marketing and exclusives and make it a companion to PS4/PS5. I want something that can fit in my pocket or just not as bulky as a Switch/Deck, isn't a mobile game, and can take my saves and trophies.
Would love an Xbox handheld too. They did Kinect, non sharable games, always online... But no handheld what's the worst that could have happened.
Better jo...
And VR, and next gen upgrade at launch of PS5/XSX. Hope they're making money, I would love to see what they do next.
There's someone for any niche. But people mostly given up on GWG a long time ago.
I'm just asking for a little bit of difficulty.. I'd settle with a beat the game on normal or higher.. but when someone can just switch on easy mode and still get the plat is me discouraging to even up the difficulty. I like difficulty trophies because it gives me a challenge and I at least have some sort of medal for it. Usually, the games with the difficulty trophies have mostly pain in the ass trophies, so I just pick a difficulty that is reasonable and won't bother with the pl...
You son of a bitch, I'm in.
Yup. Going to platinum this baby too, like HFW and the first God of War(PS4).
