Was really fun, platinumed it. Deathloop would be a good another fun one to try if you're into Sifu or vice versa.
Rampant talk, where? I'm having fun with it. Not laugh out loud funny or anything, and definitely no Rick&Morty level of intelligence in the comedy, but it's interesting and humorous and fun, have not seen any bugs that I could point out anymore than on the best AAA games... It's a game with some "colorful" comedy, concepts, and design. I would not call it mediocre. Maybe it's niche.. Pentiment isn't my type of game, but I wouldn't play it and rate it ...
Ending opened it up for a sequel.... kind, or shot it down for Jacob? No idea how to interpret that last scene. I love a sequel like I would for Order 1886, but this one would have to improve on the gameplay for sure.
Voice work was great and at least the character interactions were good, but we had like 3-5 characters? Only 3 had some real screen time, and Jacob and Dani go the spotlight, with Elias just not seeing a fleshed out background like I thought he deserved. Idk, maybe a l...
I thought the story and horror elements were fine but the slowness/clunkiness knocked the score down for me quite a bit, some graphics glitches here and there.. or like wanted to smash a crawling guy coming at you but instead turns to the corpse behind you, or into the crevice/ladder.
Right? Seems very money grubbing to lock it down to a service, when they basically have had the emulation software for over a decade+. Digital PS1 purchases should capable of being downloaded and emulated on the PS5.
As far as reading a PS1 disc, I can understand this might not be a possibility, hardware wise.

Only on Episode 2, but I'm loving the story and lore. I know to some it might be convoluted and weird, but I've watched shows and movies with harder to follow plots. I'm getting the concept, I know it's basically paranormal or at least some entwined interdimensional co-existence. I like that I can try to figure it out as the game goes on.

Exactly especially when you can pay $210(with tax) a year for GameFly for 2-games out, with Self-return(takes out the time of shipping to them). I've rented played Alan Wake Remastered, Kena, DMC5, Tiny Tina's, Sifu, COD: Vanguard. Elden Ring, HFW, Ghostwire Tokyo, Dying Light 2. All within 6 months from December. Pretty sure the value is greater than $105, and probably could have played even more if I managed the time right and had Self-Return then.

If this was about Developers being two time winners, I think FromSoftware would be the only one with 2 wins, teecchnnically.
Sustained 20ish FPS and critically acclaimed might be a bit hyperbolic. Dipping to 20s, sure.

It was my GOTY for sure. Games don't need a blockbuster narrative or amazing graphics to be a huge hit.
I kinda think the people who buy games like this(conceptualized for much more powerful hardware) for Switch are usually A: mobile gamers who already LOVE the game and want their on-the-go fix and accept the downgrade, and B: the non-gamer parents, for the kids begging for the game without weighing out the cost over quality.
Initial Switch sales of this game are majority going to be B. With some hardcore mobile gaming Harry Potter fans.
Honestly, Who the...
I'll be playing on PS5 performance mode.. Ray-tracing still just is not cutting it for me on a non VRR display(C7 OLED), as 40 fps might be acceptable, but 30fps isn't justifiable for ray-tracing vs 60fps. I need to upgrade my TV..
Really wish they just kept up with the hardware, they could have been in a good position passed the huge success of 3DS.
"Geralt’s head and shoulders glitch out in the inventory screen, his hair flutters in the breeze indoors, and distant pieces of scenery don’t so much pop in as strobe across the screen. There were plenty of times parts of quests failed to trigger as intended, even on main story missions. No doubt there’ll be a flurry of patches, for day one and beyond, but that is very far from the point.
There are even hard crashes; times when you get stuck irrevocably in the invento...
Love this new list. oh wait.
He will forever be remembered. LEGEND
Love Rainbow Six Vegas, my Resistance Fall of Man clan moved to that game and had a blast.
Oof. Didn't they say they stopped losing money on each console sold in 2010 and starting posting profits? I think generally they make most of their profit from digital/subs/licensing/ they even get a cut from physical sales?
Idk if I didn't pay attention enough, but the music was not the memorable thing about this game, maybe because the narratives and sound effects were too loud and they wanted silence during segments that required concentration(puzzles).. I just really can't say GOWR had epic music, sorry. FromSofware does this well.
