I think.. sony is doing great job at make the ps3 more appealing to gamers as well as move-watchers. With all these pricecuts and packages, the PS3 will be way more appealing and affordable to gamers. They have a great line-up this year and next.
He's right, buy any blu-ray player and you get 5 blu-ray movies, this is not Sony's promotion for the PS3, but rather a promotion for Blu-ray players, and PS3 just happened to be included in the list of blu-ray players, since it is in fact a blu-ray player as well as a video game console. And there are PS3 packages that include first-party title games.

Since when was DiRT "way" better on the 360, and since when was The Darkness not developed simultaneously for each console? Again, it's the developer's fault for not making a game that wipes the floor with the 360. And btw, since when do graphics make the game. Lemmings are on about "ohhh halo 3 may not have the best graphics, but it's the gameplay that makes the game awesome!". I agree that the 360's GPU is better than the PS3's in some areas, but the 360 definitely does ...
The developers are just not making the effort to develop technically superior games on the ps3 because it's just too expensive and difficult. I'm not saying the PS3 is more powerful than the 360, but it takes time to showcase power of something that is as complex as the PS3. You'll see how powerful the PS3 is when Killzone 2 comes out, because that is probably the most technically impressive game we'll see next year(if FFXIII is not out by then), being developed by 150 people and with million...
Exactly like Rikitatsu said, since when was blu-ray about superior visuals? PS1 and PS2 were the first consoles to show new game storage media in their corresponding generations and they both were the most successful consoles.
