Exactly, if some freelance devs making some end of life PS3 games run at 1080p and 60fps. Sony def has the engineers to do it better or they can coop/hire the devs working on the PC emulator.
Same, have a lot of PS3 discs but also a decent selection of digital from PS+ and purchases, couldn't mind rebuying either. PS+ has quite a few I want to play but won't stoop to streaming them.
Yeah, some physical only games will be stuck to streaming PS3/PC emulation if they don't allow to read PS3 discs on PS5.
Still hoping they're secretly working on PS3 BC and will add it some day. I'm wondering if PS3 discs would even work given they probably changed how it's read for licensing and junk.
Nah, I knew what you meant. Just wanted to see a different response than "you're not challenging yourself."
Some people are going for trophies, though, why does it bother you so much?
Cheating yourself how?
It's definitely not intended.. but I do remember I've played a few pre-fixed games that had cheesable difficulties like this, some that I was too late to "take advantage" of. For sure this will be patched in the future.
Idk I don't recall any game that doesn't allow you to switch it back up when you switched down... how it affects trophies is another thing.
I'll probably disable the auto updates and try this on Maximum Security first to see it's going to be a chore. Honestly might just give myself the challenge until it's taking too much time, and this is only the case if I know a game can be played on easy or can be cheesed.
Damn Dead Space is nostalgia already. We're getting old.
Yeah, figured it would be something like that. Checked out some gameplay, looks like it'd be fun online on Vita/PSP, but playing with no online on a PS5 seems like just for a nostalgia trip.
What's the main selling point beyond being a portable Star Wars game? Is it something you should play on a PS5?
Wtf, I am only reading about this. I guess because it wasn't on my immediate radar(for news updates) until I realized the release date was Dec 2 because Gamefly, so maybe a couple weeks ago... lol ..
Yeah, I was looking forward to it being a solid experience. Luckily I rented it.
Oof. Really hope it's a preference thing. sdfgdfgsdgf
Depends on what turned you off in the first place, was it the graphics/performance? I played at launch on PS4(base obv), and loved it, only having played the first Witcher a little. The theme/concept and lore is what kept my interest, but the RPG elements and combat mechanics made it even more fun, especially while playing on Death March difficulty. Could see how it could be clunky to some, as Asplundh said. GTAV was fun for a while, but guess I'm at the age or mindset where mindless s...
Damn, thought it did. Still haven't been impressed by it since most RT options are 30fps.
Wow, how misinformed you are..
Almost certain it was announced along with PS+ tiers that premium would get PSP games and had 1 or 2 at or near launch of PS+ tiers.
Nice, don't mind some souls difficulty. There's some decent accessibility options you can turn on as well I heard helps a bit and doesn't affect trophies.
Sadly, I'm compelled to play on the highest difficulty because it's the only difficulty related to a trophy. All it does is double the enemy health and damage, apparently. I'll have to try it.
What are you talking about, PS3 ended up on top at the end, didn't it? Cell held it back a bit, but it is still a win.
