Well I ain't no expert, but I know what does two cards have besides ridiculous power and amazing performance - price. I'll have to sell my soul to own one :(
Dang... I almost forgot how great The Sands of Time was. Though the combat mechanics in Warrior Within (along with the music) were far better.
For that prize you will be getting the best a game could offer. I am an AMD owner myself (loving my 5770 and planning to upgrade to 6850), but you can never deny the support Nvidia enjoys with the majority of game developers...
The sequel will have you playing a new character, and none of the horseman? Really? Who the hell are we going to play as, some random badass turned human? I am not so certain about this...
The fact that they introduced ALL of the horsemen (SPOILER) at the end of the first game is just a freaking tease. Especially since YOU WON'T BE PLAYING AS ANY OF THEM. That's really shitty if you ask me. The possibility of a 4 way co-op (hell, even 2 way) as a Raider is just too fr...
Don't want to sound like an ass but... come on. Will you blame the console for people being to stupid to know what they're doing. I am not in support of any of these "motion control" stream that's hit gaming, but seriously, you can't just point and say: "there, its DANGEROUS!"
Great series, great movies and great games sometimes never get a sequel. Why in the world would someone make a sequel to something which has been despised by the public? Is it some sort of an experiment (how to waste money) or what? Are they thinking, "hey, the universe is coming around folks, what was shit yesterday will turn into gold tomorrow."
Not to be as harsh as the poster above since many people do enjoy simplistic and user friendly game interfaces (and combat mechanics), I still have to point out that dumbing down an RPG in order to appeal to the more "hack-o slash-o, button mash-o" audience is kinda disrespectful from Bioware's part. Sure, it is their ip and they can do whatever they feel like (in order to rank up sales, etc) but taken the overall complexity out of a genre that has been defined by it is just pla...
You forgot PC owners.
I completely agree with their missed opportunity with War as a character. He has absolutely no personality. Even in the comic he has an attitude, I just can't understand why they didn't use it in the actual game. Nothing he does seems interesting (or even endangering) to his well-being. He just stays there, grunts, takes another quest and moves on. WHY!? He should be loud, bloodthirsty, brutal... more like Kratos than Gordon freaking Freeman.
The rest of the implemen...
No Gordon Freeman? I mean sure, you don't actually see him but come on. You don't see Master Chief either. Overall it is a nice art piece though some of the characters are a bit overrated (the guy from Heavy Rain, really?)
I bet that kid didn't even know what "interactive" means. Seriously, MS needs to fire their PR and Marketing department and start hiring people with vision and understanding of the market. This type of thing is just blatantly obvious.
...just wow. Those screens look almost identical. Not to say KZ2 isn't a great looking game but, come on guys, those screens look identical (yeah, minus the new environments)
Hell yeah. What bugs me though is how people get defensive for Sony / Microsoft. It is like they own a percentage in the company and every negative thing they hear is hurting their egos. What a bunch of whiners.
Rayne any day. Nothing beats a smoking hot, redhead vampire (God, look at the amount of contradictions in that sentence ;))
When it comes to looks (and not gameplay) fans can change things quit a bit, and their vote should count. If you have a trademark character (looks, dress code, personality) like Dante who's been easily recognizable (read: fan-favorite) by the community, then the choice to go against everything those same people feel/like/think is like stabbing yourself with a knife. I share the idea of the developers, trying to re-create (re-imagine) the look and style of Dante, but doing so without even ...
"You have lost karma for destroying Megaton."
There's one thing about Valve that everyone in the industry knows: each sequel they make is better than the original. I love the original Half Life and played the shit out of it until Half Life 2 arrived, and I just had to admit the sequel beats the original on every possible level.
However, I would never agree to an HD update of the original game due to the fact that, it is still a great game on its own merits. Do graphics of today matter so God Damned much that we have...
I won't argue that Mass Effect 2 is indeed one of the best games that graced the PC this year. But... since we're talking PC games, you can't help but ignore the greatness and sheer amount of awesomeness that Starcraft 2 brought to the masses and to the industry overall. It is, in my opinion, the best game for this year. Not just for the PC but overall.
Wow... what an argument you have there huh. Half Life and the PS3... just, wow. I understand that a company such as Valve must've shown a bit more professionalism when tackling a new market segment such as the PS3 gamebase, but damn... so many butt hurt PS3 fanboys. Just, get over it already.
As for Half Life being a failure... kid, go play it and see what means to be a FPS, for there was a time before your Uncharted and Killzone, when games were actually innovative, int...
