Indeed. The game is a blast. Short, but sweet.
Your faith is misplaced... if this was another GTA clone then sure, why not. But they've clearly missed all the important aspects that made Max Payne so great.
Ridiculous.
No Half Life.
No Deus Ex.
No Quake.
No Unreal.
...
Thanks for the enlightenment. Though Steam sales as well as digital purchases weren't listed.
This is inconsistent information. Unites sold where? In the US, UK, Europe as a whole or globally speaking. Also, consoles only, PC only or all together?
Looks great. I would love a port on PC.
Oh and a third person sequel would be nice just as well.
What's the fuss about? Did they not see Liara's body in Mass Effect 1, 2 or... hell, even the screenshots in Mass Effect 3? She's a busty hot, super smart and loving alien chick... WHAT'S NOT TO LIKE?
Here's a short list of characters in games that got shot in the head and survived.
1. Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne
2. Prototype Big Daddy in Bioshock 2
3. Adam Jensen in Deus Ex: Human Revolution
4. The character you play in Fallout 3: New Vegas
Honorable mention: Commander Shepard
5. I don't know if I should include Shep in this but he did get blown off his ship and was adrift in fucking SPACE for god knows how l...
Most people bashing the article haven't even read it. Most people came here nerd-raging at the title - hence, flooding with negativity.
Read the damn thing. It's not about Sony not being successful. READ IT!
This just in: "Halo 12 - 15 already planned for an early 2020 release, bringing you the same old multyplayer you've been playing for the past two decades."
No Half Life... c'mon.
How is Warhammer Space Marine a freaking Gears clone? It is a hack and slasher with a solid shoot em up mechanics... and for heaven's sake THERE ARE NO CHEST HIGH WALLS! Plus the game has a fresh new take on the Warhammer universe, so... I am superbly hyped after the demo, definitely will be getting this.
Why bother really... I can see designers trying to "enhance" the visual experience but darn... it is the same shitty game.
The co-op and Mercenaries mode were great though ;)
The creation of the next "game of the decade" requires some time... (and yes, "some" is calculated in years).
..."Occasionally I’d really get excited as the where the story took Adam. I would rush through the lines because I thought it was so cool. The directors would tell me to relax…I’d say something like “I never asked for this” and then punch through the wall and snap the sound guy’s neck." - QUOTE OF THE MONTH!!!
A rather short review, though one cannot ignore the facts: Deus Ex: Human Revolution will be an awesome game.
Why for the love of God would you cancel it?
You can't really blame em. A new Half Life has to be something news, something amazing. Like any other game in the series before it, it will revolutionize the genre once again... So, I'd rather wait for something great than a rushed game.
Of course it is insanely awesome. Hans Zimmer is the man!
