Make em finish Half Life 3 then buy em a trip to freaking Hawai... JUST RELEASE THE DAMNED GAME!
It doesn't even have a release date...
Well, we can always hope for a threesome, right? ;)
Awesome list.
Kudos on Tali's face ;)
Yeah, we all played DAO for the graphics.
Lets make a quick summary. No matter how you comment (whether pro or con)in relation to Crysis 2 you'll get yourself in deep shit.
If you go pro for Crysis 2, PS3 aka "KILLZONE 3 BE THA GAME BRAH" fanboys will disagree with you and flame your ass, since Crysis 2 is a mutlyplatformer and the PC version will obviously destroy any other game on the market. Whether it is out of pure ignorance or hate, one can only speculate. Their justification (naturally) is that K...
It would be the same thing with, say, the original Half Life. The game is still GREAT. I don't need flashy new graphics to enjoy good old FPS awesomness. If I wanted to play Half Life with better graphics, I would just play Half Life 2. The same goes for Halo.
People need to learn that a cash-in is a cash-in. Nothing more, nothing less. If they had more respect for the game they wouldn't consider paying for this.
In terms of books and comics hell yes, but in terms of games... no.
Sheer size: Warhammer 40k.
Lore: Mass Effect.
Actual, believable, fantasy world: Mass Effect.
Characters: Mass Effect.
Action: Halo.
Final Verdict: Mass Effect.
Blood Rayne was pretty awesome female protagonist. Strong, sexy and brutal... any male she encountered ended up without a limb, or two, or, uhm, all.
I just hope my 5770 can run this on High... at least ;)
Game of the decade.
Played the game with the original Dead Space weapons and it was pretty easy overall. The first game was way, way more challenging and somewhat... longer. I can't really tell.
... yeah, because everyone played the original Dragon Age because of the graphics, right? Right?
The game isn't out yet. Wait just a little more to get your mind blown. Again.
I've managed to complete Dragon Age Origins with 3 different characters, and I payed no attention to the weird animations and ugly graphical engine (it wasn't that ugly but it wouldn't win any beauty contest let me tell ya). As for the Witcher, well, the voice acting and the combat were the points where it lost me completely. If we compare Bioware's storytelling and dialog to that of the Witcher, who do you think is better? The combat was weird as well. Three different stances...
AS long as Blizzard, Valve and Indie developers keep making games, PC gaming will never die out.
3D TV screens are still expensive though their price is in decline. As for game developers, well, it is an interesting gimmick which might improve the gameplay experience (or not). It all boils down to making profit in the end. If companies figure out that the masses enjoy 3D gaming, they will push forward, if not, it will beat the dust pretty soon.
Hawke's appearance resembles that of Duncan the Gray Warden leader from the first game. I have no idea if that was intentional or not but...
AS for the game, I am hyped to the bone. Loved the original and look forward to the improvements made in the sequel.
I really don't get why all the fuss. PC gamers have been hacking/pirating their copies of games for years. The same can be said for Xbox360 and even Wii. Yes, piracy IS a really big problem but it should not be THAT surprising to PS3 owners. They need to learn that nothing in this world is secure, as long as it is connected to the internet.
