Everyone can argue about weather a fansites opinion matters, but if your realistic and unbiased Sony had the best conference.
Sony has a 3D control scheme that people will actually use and was very accurate and tactile. Microsoft's Natal looks and sounds cool, but beyond that is not very practical, especially how it was demonstrated. Air driving a car just doesn't seem very fun to me.
Sony announced more exclusive games, The Final Guardian, Agent, Final Fantasy XIV, ...
Looked like his avatar was going through drug withdrawal. Took way too much effort to see the bottom of the avatars shoe, I didn't see accuracy in that little demonstration.
Honestly don't see what is so exciting about Natal, nothing looked that interesting about it. I don't want to play air racing , I don't want to throw paint at an imaginary canvas (nor a real one at that), I don't want to kick balls spastically, I don't want to wave my hand around to control the NXE. The Wii mote can do more than what they demonstrated for the Natal.
The Milo thing is creepy and just a gimmick, there is no way a game could react to real emotion, it can only guess ...
I found it kinda strange, and didn't see where the Mylo demo was doing anything you couldn't do with the current cams, especially considering the Sony cam has a built in Mic. I didn't see any real use of depth of field control either.
I don't want to air drive a car, would much rather have a steering wheel to play driving games. I was not impressed with it, there is no tactile feel to playing air games, and it seems more like a gimmick than Nintendo's Wii controls.
The only thing that is certain is that the 360 will be getting Metal Gear Solid Rising, that's it. PS3 is getting it too. So not really a big anouncement. Especially considering that the original Xbox got all the Metal Gear games, just a little later than the PS2. The 360 is still not getting Metal Gear Solid 4. The games to be excited about are the new Halo game, Crackdown 2, and Left 4 dead 2. It is stupid to get excited about a game solely because you think it was stolen from a competitor,...
inFamous is a very good game that deserves a much higher score than a 6, anyone with half a mind can find many flaws in this review, one being that the reviewer says he was not able to play the game because of the controls (the controls are very good and intuitive in infamous) seems that bitccching about the controls in PS3 exclusive games is a running theme these days, you have to be pretty inept at gaming to say that games like inFamous and Killzone 2 are hard to control, kind of like compa...
To be honest I would say that three out of those games got higher scores than they deserve, Halo wars, Crackdown, and Left 4 Dead. Thats just my opinion.
Before anyone comments, to me inFamous is much better than Crackdown.
All gamers are graphic whores. Game play is most important, But I can guarantee that if the graphics aren't on par with the game play the game probably will not get much attention. They don't have to be pushing tons of polygons to look great, but they do have to be good looking.
Not a Sony problem, it's a Canadian government problem. Sony Knows there plenty of loyal Sony Playstation 3 customers and that there is money to be made in Canada, just takes longer to get things in place because of the many hoops they have to jump through to do so.
Sony Corporation is a Japanese company that operates world wide.
Sony's U.S. division works very hard for the U.S. customers.
I think that the final product is going to look great, and we won't have to worry about finger prints or dust as much with the new model.
People shouldn't judge by the individual pieces weather it is flimsy or not. Take the current PS3 apart, or event the Xbox 360, and the pieces seem kinda flimsy too.
Good RPG On the Wrong console, different kind of gamers on the Xbox 360. Most on the Xbox 360 prefer Western type RPG'S over Japanese ones, especially Xbox 360 gamers anywhere outside of Japan.
If it were the other way around with this game and it was made a timed exclusive for the Xbox 360, The Xbox 360 fanboys would be saying buy a Xbox 360, so you may do the same and buy a PS3.
No one Knows when it will be released on the other systems in Europe.
It is one game compared to the many that Microsoft payed for this gen, do the SquareEnix games come to mind.
Sony does own the Rights to the Ghost Buster property.
I'm not a big fan of console exclusives, but there has been exclusive third party games since the NES and Sega Master System. I have a bigger problem with exclusive DLC, It is unfair to sell a game for systems that are equally capable and not allow one all the the extras the other one is getting, especially when they are charging the same price for the game on each system, I'm talking about the PS3 And The Xbox 360 this gen, with all the other systems(Including the Wii) the games are going t...
Having tons of features doesn't make a game perfect. It's the content within those features that is the deciding factor, the single player in Halo 2 and 3 was not the greatest nor were the graphics. Multi-player and all the features that go along with it, is pretty great. Games should be rated by all of its content not just buy its Multi-player.
I like the Halo games, but in my opinion Halo 2 and 3 did not deserve all the Hype they were given.
The Halo games are great games, are they legendary? no, not as a series of games. The first Halo or Halo Ce was the only one deserving of it's high scores, not a perfect score, because there is no such thing as a perfect game. Halo 2 and 3 had week single player that was kinda short, but had very good multi-player. Graphically Halo 3 is just slightly better than the previous Xbox Halo games and was also kinda short. If I were scoring the games I would score the first game a 9 to 9.5, the seco...
They did what they were forced to do, not by law, but by the damage the RROD thing would and has done to the image of Microsoft's gaming division, hell it took them a year a and a half to even get around to doing that. I say this because it took them so long to even offer an extended warenty, and they knew there was a problem from the day it was released. Some reports saying they new the problems were there before release. The best thing they could have done is fix the problem early on. Even ...

Kinda dumb to be mad at Americans.
Please don't say anything nice about the PS3 and all of its great features and great games, you now how pissy the fanboys get.
I believe you are absolutely wright.

Sony rips your balls off like a paper towel.
Be careful, I got banned for a week for making a similar comment about Microsoft's business practices.
