Although miss leading they got most of there information from frame captures from various sources, it seems that the development software for the Xbox 360 allows for frame captures at higher a resolution than the games actually are running at. Many games run at sub HD resolution on the Xbox 360. They give many examples of this in the article. The PS3 frame captures are at the same resolution the game actually runs at, that happens to be the same resolution it is actually running on the Xbox 3...

Natal is nothing more than neat tech that is not really practical for realistic 3D gaming, waving your hands with invisible objects is not emersive, shooters need real triggers or button presses for each shot, racing games needs some sort of tactile feedback for acceleration and breaking. The only reasonable use would be for casual novelty type games and interface control, both of which would get little attention from me.

People will be saying this is cool for all of ten minutes ...

This article just seems like a fanboy justification for paying for something that should be free.

He mentions certain games as being worth the price of Xbox Live, how do they have anything to do with Xbox live being worth the money, some are exclusive to the system but some are also available on both systems, like the Call of Duty games and they play equally as well on both systems. There are exclusive games you can only play on PSN, like Killzone 2, Resistence 1 and 2, Socom, Wa...

I'm all for supporting American company's, but not huge companies that break trade laws just because they are so big they can get away with it.
There known for being anti-competitive and for making shoddy product, weather it be Windows Vista, Window Me or the Xbox 360 or there PC game Pads or Zune MP3 players. They have a stranglehold on the PC OS market, I don't want them to have a stranglehold on the Console gaming market.

There are many other good American companies we s...

A lot of gamers don't want the old Xbox 360, let alone a knew failure prone model.

People who like the PS3 are fanatical Sony fanboys. People who like the Xbox 360 are staunch Xbox 360 loyalist.

Well, the fanatic are the ones who constantly apologize for a console that is prone to fail. The fanatics are the ones who compare every game to Halo or Gears Of War. The fanatics are the ones that go out of there way to see that a triple A game on the competing console gets scrutinized so much that people don't know weather to buy it or not. The fanatics are the ones t...

I have it on PS3 and I haven't had a single problem, I've played it for about 6 or 7 hours. Great game.

I read the article and it mentioned Killzone on PS2 and the only game he mentions for PS3 was Saints Row which was a below average game. All the good games He seems to mention being on Xbox 360 only, when most of them are available on PS3 also, and some of them even being on PC. Certainly if he Knows about these games and the celebrities that lent there voices to them, he would know the various platforms the games were made for.

Seems a bit manipulative or maybe subliminal.

I don't understand why it is such an anoyance, do you really spend that much time looking at the XMB. Web sites have way more stuff like that going on, this site included, does that bother you.

I know some people are going to say that web sites are free....so is PSN.

I say you guys are really nitpicky and easily anoyed by little things.

Xbox live is a service you pay a yearly fee for and still get ad's for Cars, Cell Phone service, Hamburgers, Dorito's and more. These ad's are unavoidable if you use the XMB, if you want to purchase a game or watch a movie you have to use the XMB. There is no way to turn off ad's in a service you pay $49.95 a year for.

Also the so called free stuff you get from those ad's are just ways for you to display there ad's for them, themes and gamer pics.

PSN only displa...

Please explain how cross game chat makes FPS's better on the Xbox 360. Your able to voice chat in FPS's on the PS3 too, all the FPS's on PS3 support that.

How do you Play a FPS well and chat with someone else playing a different game, seem like it would be a little confusing.

Do people really use cross game chat that much anyway?

I agree with some of the article but not all.

Defends failure rate of the Xbox 360, yet has had 3 fail on him, Typical. Xbox 360 failure rate is not defendable any way you look at it.

Microsoft made the Xbox 360 a household name along with RROD.

Xbox 360 exclusives that are available on the PC simply are not exclusives.

Yes Sony and Microsoft are big corporations that each want a bigger share of the market than there competitor, but Microsof...

I do believe that this is mostly a single player add on. With the exception of the first Halo game, the single player in Halo 2 And Halo 3 were not that impressive.

I didn't care for it much either, it was a game with little story and lots of repetition, just basically a sand box playground. Hopefully Crackdown 2 will have more meat on its bones.

I'm pretty sure he talking about multi-platform games and there online play. On that note he full of bull, Online play on PSN works just as good as Xbox live, Now if he's referring to cross game chat and in game invites that really has nothing to do with how well online game play works.

Don't miss understand this article, its not the U.S. federal government that is asking for an apology, it's the Nigerian Federal government that is asking for the apology.

It's pretty clear what the Sony commercial is referring to, but I'll spell it out even further for the Nigerian government. It was a reference to fraudulent email's sent from Nigeria to other people in other country's attempting to swindle those people out of money. It was not referring to Nigeria as a country...
