Someone should tell you, you are kinda backwards...oh wait...I just did.
@slime and Green
There are just as many PS3 fanboys with low bubble counts as there are Xbox 360 fanboys with low bubble counts.
I own all three current gen consoles and mamy of the older ones, I rarely comment on the the Wii, Dreamcast, DS, Iphone, or PC, if at all, and I own all of those too. The reason is because I don't see articles or comments that are miss information and flam...
SquareEnix can kiss my as, what about all the things they have given the Xbox 360 but have not given to the PS3, Sony made them huge amounts of money and even own a percentage of the company. PS3 has yet to see anything new from them and probably won't until Final Fantasy XIII comes out. I'm all for them being fare, but why does it only apply to Xbox 360 in the states (Money). Another point the game and the demo is exclusive to the PS3 in japan, while they are doing it for both systems, so th...
Someone should tell you that Microsoft's numbers are suspect and are mostly estimated, last I heard Microsoft gives shipped numbers and Sony gives sold numbers. That, and the number of units returned under retail warranty, when replaced under that warranty are accounted for as a new sale. Has anyone seen the Photo of Circuit City's return center that showed three stacks of broken Xbox 360's compared to the one stack they had of PS3's.
I doubt that Microsoft has deducted the large...
If you mean software like Halo, Gears Of War, or Fable 2, maybe Sony should partner with Bunji, Epic games, or Lions Head studios. I mean those studios with the already amazing studios that Sony already have or have a partnership with...now that would be a real partnership.
Makes more sense than partnership with Microsoft.
Hell, a partnership with Nintendo makes more sense. Two companies that create great first party studios or help to create studios to create great ...
Make sure that Sony handles the manufacturing of the Playbox and not Microsoft. Remove the box part from the name of the system, by associating the name with a box(Xbox 360) may curse the stability of the console.
Greenberg!!!
Stupid fanboy rant.
Great MMO, anyone into Conan or MMO's should check this out. This game has been seriously improved since release, everyone who played at launch and thought it was broke, should give it another try.
There are ways to fix imperfect code, its called a patch, which we are getting for most games these days anyway.
I believe the recent patches to the Xbox 360 and PC versions of Fallout 3 were specifically for the downloadable content, or in preporation for it. So since the PS3 version isn't getting the downloadable content, they wouldn't be getting the patches that pertain to them.
The deal for the Xbox 360 exclusive Fallout 3 content was probably made long before Sony started charging developers for downloads on PSN. PS3 is still getting all the third party downloadable content that Xbox 360 is getting with the exception of exclusive content that Microsoft payed for. PSN has probably gotten more downloadable content since they implemented the charge than they did when there was no charge, Which is quite a lot of content in the U.S. they have also gotten a couple of exc...
Why would he, He's got Regi for that (Trash Talking).
or re enforce their beliefs.
Was anyone even giving it a thought. Might have been nice six months ago, but who really cares now.
I have Gears Of War 1 and 2 and there great games, it was the best looking console game around when it came out, that is until Uncharted came out, but since then there have been better looking games come out and there nearly all exclusive to PS3.
Even though Gears Of War was a great game it did have its issues, like texture pop-in, low frame rate, stuttering cut scenes, and low rez textures. Gears Of War 2 they fixed most of those Problems, but the multi player was buggy as hell...
Why did I read this, I think I lost a couple of IQ points by reading this. Stupid is, is Stupid does.
Harsh but funny, and very true for many Xbox 360 fanboys.
PS1 and PS2 had disk read problems with the launch consoles produced by a certain factory's, and was fixed within a reasonable time period( within a few months) and was no where near as big a problem as the Xbox 360's RROD. I had a launch PS2 and I never had a single problem with it, never had to buy a new one or have it replaced, and I played the crap out of it for six years till I sold it. I also had a PS1 that did have a problem with the drive overheating and not being able to read disk, I...
The point that people are making with Xbox 360 head start is that the lead that the console has in the United States has not increased by much over what that head start gave them.
Your argument about the PS2 having a year head start doesn't match up, the PS2 tripled its lead after the Xbox was released.
On a world wide basis the Xbox 360 and the PS3 are selling equally (U.S. sales are not the only ones that count). On a per console basis the PS3 sold more software th...
