Well, it would make sense to use the same capture program for both versions of the game. No numbers on the PS3 screens, Hmm. In order for there to be an accurate comparison all variables should be the same, same TV, same impute, comparable settings and captured from the same device or program.
One, I agree with your post, the rest of my comment is aimed at people that think that Sony bowing out is a good thing.
Are you F'ing crazy?
The Xbox Fanboys that want to see Microsoft Xbox 360 as being the only true gaming console on the market and not having any real competition are just fools. Microsoft already charges there customers for every little thing they can, Xbox live, themes, gamer pics, Wi-Fi adapter, hard Drives, controller chargers and batteries, what...
You can bet your ass that Microsoft and its PR people worry about what there employees say in public or in interviews and probably have a lot of control over what they say in public. If Microsoft is worried about it you can bet there employees are worried too. Sure some of them make mistakes when speaking and PR release a statement to fix it, but I'm sure they don't want that to happen too often, because some statements, when there already out there, they really can't be fixed and in the int...
You have a point, but when Sony does those kind of things people are all over them calling them arrogant but when Microsoft do those things its just business even when Microsoft goes much further with it than Sony ever has.
Sony usually play up there Playstation consoles without bashing Microsoft, if anything they downplay Nintendo more than anything and thats probably because Nintendo screwwed them in the past with the whole DVD drive thing and Nintendo backing out at the last m...
It's great that he compliments a truly great game that is exclusive to the PS3, but it is strange that he is suddenly positive about Sony and the PS3 after being extremely negative about it for so long. Either he saw the light and decided that all his negativity about Sony and PS3 was damaging gaming and Microsoft's reputation or its just damage control and more Microsoft manipulation.
Sony may be the most Arrogant but Microsoft is easily the most Manipulative in the gaming busin...
It was a really bad game on the PC, It looked good but had really boring game play.
The Sony web sites don't need to look the same cookie cutter way for every country. They are catering to different cultures and taste.
They don't need to look the same, they just need to provide the information that pertains to each country.
I think the Sony sites are doing a great job.
Why did adding new features to the U.K. site turn into a useless biiitch fest.
I have all three of the current gen consoles, And in my opinion the PS3 XMB interface is the best of the three. I like that the PSN store is separate from the XMB, very easy to find things in the store and is aesthetically pleasing to look at. I like the Wii interface too, It looks nice and clean and is easy to use. The Xbox 360 NXE interface is a cluttered mess to me, and was not a big improvement from the blade interface. The Market place should be separate from the gaming interface.

I install games on the Xbox 360 to avoid the very loud noise made by the DVD drive and to avoid the DVD drive waring out prematurely. It also makes some games more stable like Fallout 3(doesn't crash like it does running from the DVD drive). So for me it is mandatory to install games to the hard drive on the Xbox 360.
How Destructoid is on crack.
Anyone that says they can see a difference by watching this crappy video stream is an idiot and a fanboy.
I've looked at the HD game videos of the PS3 version on other sites and it does not have low rez textures and looked virtualy identical to the Xbox 360 version except that the Xbox version was a little darker. The embers do look different on the two systems, the PS3 version does not have the red spots in the texture, its the same except for the spots. Doesn't make the Xbox 3...
Overly simplified games for casual gamers don't mean Crraap to me.
To me trying to cater to the casual market with hardware that you are losing money on is kinda of dumb (Yes Microsoft is still losing money on every console sold). Casual gaming by its nature is just that, they don't buy that many games, and real gamers won't buy overly simplified games.
Nintendo has the best idea for casual gamers. They make a profit on every console sold. It's easy to make a game f...
Seems we're back where we were a few months ago with the I hate everything Sony articles. Every time the Xbox fanboys feel threatened we get all these stupid two paragraph articles that really say nothing.
Home is still in beta, it has received lots of content and improvements in the six months it has been in beta. Sony made no bones about it being in public beta for some time. As it is, there are lots of people who use and enjoy the service.
It's like all the fanboy...
Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony all tied for number one.
A Wii mote with a camera, but way more accurate and useful for playing real games. If you looked at Sony's demonstration and didn't see the
potential for real 3 dimensional gaming that felt more realistic than waving your hand and moving your feet with invisible objects, there is something wrong with you.
An invisible gun will not work for a shooter, how do you pull the trigger, do you stamp your foot on the ground to shoot your invisible gun, will that feel emersive to y...
Did this guy see the same conference I did? Sony showed as many if not more exclusive's, showed new hardware, gave a very good demonstration of real 3 dimensional control. Sony's game lineup has way more variety.
Please tell me what the Natal demonstration showed that was so interesting, was it throwing paint at a wall and making an elephant, was it kicking balls spastically, was it air driving a car, was it the creepy child simulator, I mean adults should play with there childre...
I have no doubt that it works, My doubt is that anyone will want to play air games. A person playing two demos in 5 to 6 minutes, demos that don't look that fun to begin with, does not impress me. To me, all I could see from the demos was full body control, which I think is just a small improvement. They have not showed nor have I read or heard any talk of 3 dimensional control with Natal. So all in all it is an improvement on the Eye Toy, which we saw how well Eye Toys air games went over w...
I don't think it needs to be on the 360 to be successful or that the 360 would even make a difference, considering they broke up there market by selling a console version without a hard drive. I don't think Final Fantasy XI on the 360 has done that well, if it has, Square has made no mention of it, and surely if it had Microsoft would have mentioned it. I don't think any of the Square Enix games have done that well on the Xbox 360. They are certainly not meeting the success they have had on p...
Sony, Microsoft, then Nintendo.
I've read the article, and all the nonsense he mentioned only makes a difference to people like him and blogs like his. Howard Stringer's comment was mild in comparison to some of the things Microsoft and Nintendo exec's have said. Both company's act with same arrogance as Sony, Yet Sony is the only company called out for it.
This generation, blog's and bloger's have done more to harm to Sony , Microsoft, Nintendo and the gaming industry as a whole than the individual companies ...
