They haven't a clue what they are talking. Both those studios have done second party games for different consoles. They were never committed or exclusive to one console for development.

I don't now how they could make a slimmer model considering the heat problems the Xbox 360 has. Maybe a redesign but not a slimmer model.

A laptop that would allow you to play games that look as good as PS3 graphics would cost you at least $1,500.00, that's five times more than what a PS3 costs. plus you wouldn't be able to play exclusives like Uncharted 2, MAG, Ratchet and clank: A crack in Time, White Night Chronicles, Heavy Rain, Demon Souls, God Of War 3, Killzone 2, Resistence 2, Little Big Planet plus many more.

In the area I live in the Best buys are all sold out of both the 80gig and the 160gig model, also all the WalMarts in my area were sold out of the 80gig but a few still had the 160gig PS3's. I got this information by checking store availability on each of the stores web sites.

The PS2 Slim came 3 years into the PS2 life cycle. The PS3 will be three years old this coming November, so the PS3 Slim is coming out just over two months sooner than the PS2 Slim.

Do you own a PS3 for real or are you just hating, the 360 has a mat finish that doesn't look as good as the finish of the PS3 Slim, I don't think the Xbox 360 looks cheap because of the finish and I don't think the finish on the New PS3 Slim looks cheap.
I don't think the PS3 Slim is ugly or cheap looking and it is way more practical for a gaming machine to have a mat finish.

Microsoft just will not give DLC away for free even though the PC equivalent of the games almost always gets the DLC for free. They had this problem With Epic games and Gears Of War, Epic wanted to give the DLC away for free but Microsoft made them charge for it. Its a common practice for game developers to give PC game customers extra content for free (Epic, Valve, sometimes Activision, Atari with The Witcher).
Microsoft is greedy.
