PS3 never struggled to begin with. PS3 sold more consoles in the same amount of time (each consoles first 3 years). The lead that Microsoft has is only in the U.S really and that's because of the year head start they had. Who knows how much of that is from buying Multiple consoles because of its High failure rate. The amount they had for the extra year on the market without any competition is slowly being widdled away.
They never even got close to the ten million console lead the...
Too late.
You say this like there was never a negative word comming from Xbox 360 Microsoft camp against the PS3 Sony camp, fact is until most recently there has been Quite a bit, for you or any Xbox 360 fanboy to act like all that disapeared or didn't happen because they praise one game just proves how much of a fanboy you really are.
It is not appropriate for Microsoft to do advertising that some how makes them seem to be connected to the Playstation brand.
Asking everyone t...
Since the September NPD sales numbers came out the flame bate and Sony and PS3 negativity has gotten more frequent, as it always does when there's good news for anything Sony.
Seems kinda odd to me, they use music associated with little big planet in there advertising, they advertise in PS3 magazines (PS3Zine digital magazine), they do advertising to PS1 And PS2 owners referring to the Xbox 360 like it was the obvious console to upgrade to from those consoles. Using Iconic Playstation characters on there console videos. Suddenly praising a PS3 exclusive after being so negative toward Sony and the PS3.
Add all of that up and it does seem like something ...
If you've played the demo on the PS3 you would know that it does not look like it does in the comparison. It doesn't quite look as good as the Xbox 360 version but the only real difference is the brightness and contrast and the way the AA is done on the PS3 version. With a little in game adjusting you can practically make them look identical. when I played the demo on the PS3 I didn't notice a difference in the frame rate compared to the Xbox 360 version. Anyway the differences in the version...
Give your avatar a kiss for me.
1. No HDD - Yes you have perceived scalability at the cost of standardization. Every game has to be designed to run from a disk, theirs less space to cache data in it internal memory. Also many games have to be patched, some of those patches are for single player bugs. Where do you store those patches when the internal memory runs out or you run out of memory on your expensive Microsoft branded memory unit.
2. DVD Drive - A standard yes, doesn't mean its the best option. The DVD ...
You are miss informed, there is much more virtual items in Home than there are for Xbox live avatars. Lots of clothes and costumes(much more varied), lots of furniture, lots of personal spaces, lots of games, lots of video content in the Home theater, and there is always lots of people taking advantage of it all, especially in the US. There is also a lot of free virtual content and you can win a lot of it by playing the more than thirty games that are in the Home spaces. Some of the games in ...
Tittle should be how Nintendo may have gotten it wright and How Microsoft copied them.
Personally Microsoft's avatars are not that exciting and aren't anything to sing about. I don't want to use an ugly avatar in my Guitar Hero games, kinda pointless.
Yah, because you can play with no hands and no screen to look at.
PS3 comment hands down, has more letters in the sentence.
Not identical but close enough, As is with most games, even when it's slightly in the 360's favor.
Had it been in the 360' favor the fanboys would have been gloating, but since it's not, its back to the graphics don't matter routine.
Graphics do matter or we all would not have bought the new systems but the differences in PS3 and Xbox 360 games are so minimal that these comparisons are not needed. Unless you use a magnifying glass(or sit a foot from the screen) and ...
Leave it to Microsoft to try and coat tale on PS1 And PS2 's success.
Seems like a dirty way to confuse the consummer, much like using music from Little Big Planet in there advertizing.
The game looks just fine, not the best out there as far as graphics go, but it looks pretty good.
Lens of truth seem to be giving a bit of miss information or slanted information in this comparison. The load times on the Xbox 360 version are just as long with motion blur turned on. The PS3 version has 2x AA and the Xbox 360 version does not have AA at all. The PS3 version looks better with motion blur turned off than the Xbox 360 version. The PS3 version has better sound and the ...
Are the two of you just bone heads? or is your reading comprehension very poor. raztad did not say they did not use the Cell processor, he said or what he meant is that Digital Foundry did not mention the use of the cell proccessor or how they used it in the article.
How the two of you got that he was saying he new how to program or even that he could program better than the developer is beyond me.
I own and have played the 360 version and also have played the PS3 ve...
I have bought all of them too, and I can say that each and everyone of them were great games. Insomniac is one of the best developers around, both from a game play stand point and a technical stand point. The gameplay, story, character animation and voice acting in the Ratchet and Clank games are among the best the industry has to offer.
The problem with reviews is 1: the reviewers are jaded by having played so many games. 2: some think nitpicking makes them seem to know more abo...
People need to rate games on how good there experience was with the game, not nitpick it to death with minor issues. This is a amazing gaming experience that being overly negative, or trying to make people think your more knowledgeable about games with negativity, or fanboyism will cause you to miss or not enjoy.
Uncharted 2 is an Amazingly beautiful and entertaining single player and multi-player experience that for most people that rate it on pure enjoyment would easily give i...
The game has no Quick Time Events (QTE) period. The game has real time gaming and cut scenes that is it. This Dumb asssa is just trying to get hits by giving miss information.
To give a game this great a one word review that doesn't even really have the smallest thing to do with the game just seems disrespectful to everyone, the developer and consumers.
Edit: There is some QTE when fighting bosses and some enemies toward the end of the game but there mixed in with th...
Fail, Fail, Fail. None of what you said is true at all. try finding some truth for you fanboy rants.
