GT6 should be PS4. Obviously. GT5 barely scraped through on PS3 tech, GT6 is unneeded on PS3 with most hardcore gamers going after PS4 asap.
As for sales, sure from a sales POV PD will release on the console that has already sold millions. Doesn't do the PS4 any favours though, seems like a strange move indeed. May even hold a few back from BUYING PS4 because the "BIG NAME" release in on the PS3!

We need improvements ongoing to evolve.. it's a good thing. It's great we have Oculus rift incoming - the interface is vital to immersion! No it's not as good as what was promised, Do I care? No because I didn't even LOOK at previews etc. Had I then I'd have known most of that wasn't even do-able on the PS3 and taken it with a grain of salt anyway.

@allwrong - I don't do either of those, nor will. Playing online is a basic right when you have already paid your ISP for internet access. UNLESS you are paying for a dedicated server, which in most if not all console games, you are not.
And if Sony go the same route then I'll be just as harsh on them.

They can't have it both ways. They already charge way too much for games vs other media that takes just as much money to produce and sells in similar numbers (and has similar if not worse piracy levels)
I'm more concerned with all the plastic landfill crap that will come from not being able to sell on used games and buy new ones... just shelves and shelves of multi thousand dollar discs that have passed their sell by date and interest level, thrown in the bin because they are unsellable (recyclable).

i'm all for the PS4 but it's NOT just about core count, it's about the processor's architecture.
On PC Intel pretty much blow AMD away still.

It's all written in C++ man! It just a different compiler flag to compile for different CPUS.
Of course they may be using a framework/engine that was tuned already for CELL and would prefer a new one for PS4.. either way. This is a BAD move not to have a NEW GT on PS4 as soon as possible.
