I think they should become JUST a software developer too. They would sell loads of games on systems better able to do their great gameplay justice than the sub-par hardware they keep putting out!

I know there are people out there hating on this game who haven't even played it, posting comments because of ALL the negative reviews (which seems like some kind of witch hunt now).
The game is good fun to play. That is all there is to it. Too many people whining about what wasn't given instead of the cool game that was. It looks good, it plays well, it runs well and it controls well. It's well paced, atmospheric and true to the aliens universe.

I am enjoying this game on PS3 (single player) it's solid, it does the job, it's not 'amazing' but it is fun, it occasionally has not just decent but VERY nice graphics/effects and is atmospheric.
These negative reviews are because of expectations and possibly developer pre-release BS but anyone who hasn't at least tried it themselves is losing out. I reckon...

I also played this on PC, am a massive PC junky and a bit of a graphic's whore If I'm honest. It didn't feel as good for some reason with the mouse. Maybe hooking the PC up to the TV and doing the same 2D>3d and using an xbox controller would give you the same feel I had playing.
And again, normally i hate control pads for FPS - big mouse/keyboard nut here, but this camera is so smooth that I prefer it to the mouse/kbd feel on the PC ve...

BTW the atmosphere when landing on LV426 and looking for hadleys hope - the graphics (again even on a PS3) are beautiful!! DO the 2D > 3D thing on your 50" plus TV and it's the closest you'll come to living the aliens film.
