This one is gonna be good, I think GT fans have been waiting for this one for months now... fully expect a new track in here, and hopefully some significant single player events/missions.
Some new configurations to Sport Mode would be awesome too. Give us a reason to use these amazing new cars!
The 190E Evo 2 is such a cool addition... with the Alfa and BMW E30 M3, we can now do full-blown 1992 DTM races.
And the LFA....for obvious re...
I would be highly surprised if this update doesn't have at least one track in it.
They did eventually make it into a very good game (I still would have much preferred if it was a full-blown RPG like Fallout New Vegas, but that's more preference).... but the game they initially released is unforgivable.
If nothing else I am very happy to actually see a few more "A/AA" videogames hit the market, I notice they've really died out over the last few years, and you just have this chasm between "indie" and "AAA" titles
A couple of new tracks, VR HUD customisation, and some kind of injection of life into Sport mode (start using night races, weather and more classes beyond Gr.3 and 4) would make this an incredible racing game. It's so close to it.
Am I mis-remembering or did CDPR say this and the new DLC was the last significant update for this game?
It may be a commercial success but I feel like this has cemented Bethesda's relegation to a fairly middling developer. Up until Fallout 3 they were held universally in high regard.
Cyberpunk was a steaming pile of shite when it launched. Even in its current state I don't really think it's a very good videogame.
I will NEVER forget the first day playing it on PS5. I remember laughing at how insanely disappointing it was. After yeeears of hype and massively positive previews it was surreal how awful it was!

Bethesda have been massively bloating their "innovation" credentials over the last few years. I remember with Fallout 4, a producer of it said there were parts of the game he hadn't seen yet after hundreds of hours.... absolute nonsense:

The Outer Worlds felt like a first draft of something that could be truly amazing, in the same vein as Fallout: New Vegas (go figure).
Can't wait to see the sequel in action.
It is a common feature of RPGs to have a weak main quest compared to the side quests. I believe it's difficult to keep a strong throughline (which are by nature more linear) in a massive world
I have to admit I would love to play this.
I'm a massive fan of the FPS RPG genre but there aren't really many "proper" ones imo .... Fallout NV is unquestionably my favourite videogame, I absolutely adore the choice and agency it gives players.
Is the chance of this coming to PS very small/nonexistent?
It's interesting that IGN is either heralded as the harbinger of truth or irrelevant depending on whether they score a game according to the N4G commenter concensus.
Man it's so hard to continue with PS plus. Personally the only thing I play online is GT7, and anyone who plays that knows that PD frustratingly neglect it when it comes to quality of life, basic updates. The Daily Race format hasn't been updated properly in years....just GT4 and GT3 cars on the same preset tracks. No night time or rain races....just dull.
I'm very concerned that R* is going the way of DICE....slowly becoming a shell of its former glory.
We might look back on Red Dead 2 as the "last hurrah" of Rockstar as it was.

I bought it when it came out after being pretty hyped for it and I was stunned at how awful it was.
But if they've really been putting the effort in hopefully this is more of what the game was supposed to be.
I hope there's a lot of choice.
Damn that looks really cool. It has GTA esque open world elements with cars etc which kinda separates it from the usual anime type fare
I do like how they've put RPG elements into this. The deeper the better. I hope this is good!
