I don't think Sony would like this as Xbox would essentially occupy the Playstation brand.
Not really, in fact I can recall SEVERAL good games that have come out under Acti's name in the last five years. Modern Warfare, the Crash games, the Tony Hawk remasters
No, generally conglomeration is just bad for consumers at the end of the day. It really does reinforce that MS is an insanely huge brand...even compared to Sony, which aside from its gaming division (and Playstation is obviously massive), isn't 'really' much.
What...the whole thing is part of MS now? Holy shit that's huge.
Surely they'll keep releasing stuff on Playstation? That would be a huge blow to PS (and they technically probably could), but they'd be cutting off a huge portion of their sales.
lol that little presentation they did is still cool looking...which is even funnier considering how horrible the actual game was.
Hell no. Apparently they've got a big update planned coming out over next few weeks so vaguely interested to see what it is.
Cyberpunk is an amazing idea but just terribly executed. I get the feeling that if the creative/art guys were allowed to go hog wild and given the right timeline/budget it could have been amazing.
The truth is, doing an open world game (even in RPG context) is extremely difficult....and to be honest, if the game is set in a ci...
Looks absolutely amazing, taking most of the week off work to play this endlessly.
I hope it has proper FoV settings though, wheel & pedal users should surely have access to a dashboard camera instead of the "hands/steering wheel" type cockpit view?
I love Gran Turismo (7 is the most hyped I've been for a game in years) but that is the most cringe PS fanboy comment I've read in a while.
Believe me: Gran Turismo is not that high up at all when it comes to real driving feel as far as simulation goes (rFactor, ACC, iRacing etc are in a different league entirely).
There were a lot of really interesting first person games back at the start of the 360/PS3 cycle: Condemned, FEAR, the Darkness, Prey etc. FEAR in particular made such great use of lighting.
I distinctly remember a "wow" feeling about all these new, innovative titles at the start of that generation....although we do have some good games already this gen, I don't feel anything near that.
Hey you're that famous guy from GTPlanet!
Ooh that is a tasty list, wow. Agree with all!
Christ above. I'd love another game like Vegas, realistic scenarios with special forces/SWAT teams. This is just so generic and soulless looking.
This looks like a mod. Surely they should remove the Tom Clancy name? It's prob a bit insulting to the deceased.
I would posit though that Rockstar has yet to really be proven wrong in terms of them still making excellent open world games. Yes their online faring is exploitative junk, but they have yet to put a foot wrong as far as open world games go... You can't deny that even if they're not to your taste.
Even though I didn't like it as much as IV, GTA V's single player was truly impressive back in 2013 when it came out. I think people just forget that now.
Please show off GT 7 using VR. GT Sport was a mere taste.
If I can race regularly/online using VR, my television will be going in the bin.
"The UI is fine"
Dude...it's categorically worse than the PS4's UI. That is unacceptable.
I always find previews with no hands-on a bit pointless...
Why do you have to be all negative? Seriously... it's unhealthy.
Not to be a crotchety old man, but I miss cosmetics being earned solely by gameplay. I remember with great fondness how in Halo 3 the helmet/armour you had genuinely was a sign of skill/reputation, there was one that was borderline mythical because it was so rare (well...until cheaters found a way to get it)
BF 2042, what a honking disappointment that was.
I really do have a soft spot for Blood Money. A lot of it are reconstituted levels from 1 & 2, but it had (and still has) an extremely mature and disturbing feel to it, certain levels feel like a horror movie.
