I subscribed to FT and the Economist when I was studying (got a big discount as I was a student), I read them both cover-to-cover for three years. However, I started to believe what appeared to be good quality journalism was mostly sophistry, and I was kidding myself into believing it made me in ANY way smarter or better-informed.
The Sun, The Mirror etc...they are mostly written for entertainment purposes and give a flavour of what the common man responds to. It doesn'...
I think you're missing the point. I replayed it over Christmas and it has reaffirmed my view that it's MEANT to be slow etc, much of the gameplay genuinely trying to recreate living in the era rather than a constant dopamine hit -- which Rockstar could have done if they wanted to. A lot of the game feels like a moving piece of art than a traditional videogame, the idea is more to get lost in a world and affect the emotional side of your brain rather than entertaining you.
Come on, please let Gran Turismo 7 be full-blown VR integration. Playing that online with a rig would be insane.
Wait wait, is this full-blown GT7? With Multiplayer?
Holy shit. Amazing!
I'm seriously considering getting PSVR2 just for GT7. It better be the full game though, not some tantalising demo like GT Sport VR
Amazing stuff. The PlayStation is surely the one of the most successful electronic products ever. 25+ years of domination and innovation is incredible.
This is great news. It's time to let the PS5 soar!
This is my issue with the "franchise" obsession, narratives should not continue indefinitely.
Imagine a song that just never ended.
I'd prefer it if you were stuck with your choices and they had massive repercussions on how you play the game. Games seem to treat skill systems with such banality.
Pretty good. Although I'm personally not a huge fan of the current era of PS exclusives (Horizon and GoW). I hope they cutoff PS4 already, it feels like we've been waiting for it for a LONG time now.
I do programming for a living -- and it looks like we're going to get replaced by AI in time. Ironically, part of the reason I took up the field I'm in is because I wanted to avoid being made obsolete by machines!
We're all being replaced.
Someone will come along to fill the void eventually. Bugbear (creators of Wreckfest) would probably make a great fast paced destructive car game like Burnout.
There is a market for what Burnout did.
The game rocks. My only wish since launch is that they'd add a dashboard cam/FoV options . There are quite a lot of wheel users these days and I'm sure most of them would like this.
I only started the Witcher 3 but it's excellent so far. I put it off for years because of not being a huge fantasy fan, and not having much time for massive single player games...but this is going to consume me over my Christmas leave!
Damn. EA were insane for not doing this themselves ages ago. I think this is literally exactly what tons of NFS fans wanted. An EXACT remaster of NFSU 2. Nothing added, just the pure game but nicer looking.
One reviewer goes one way and the other reviewer goes the other way. Whaddya want from me?
Tricky innovating in NFS as a series now.
If they could somehow figure out how to get car brands to allow damage, and add interior view, I think they could make something really cool.
NFS has always gone for a younger audience. Don't see any difference here.
That's a hilarious insult. So much more creative than 'moron' etc. Someone called me a chowder-head the other day and it had me cracking up
I will always buy physical, I just like physical media.
One thought: if they did more steelbooks for games, maybe they'd sell a bit better? I love all mine, I want them on display!
