PS4 is $100 cheaper, and more powerful.
No, the Xbox One doesn't offer better value.
Let's face it.
It's done to say "***k YOU!" to Microsoft and earn more money as gamers go for the logical option that is the PS4.
HAH!
With the irony being that GAME is basically being kept afloat by used game sales, they're now opening a store promoting the one company that will see them crumble with the Xbox One trade, DRM shite.
Unfortunately, pre ordering doesn't guarantee a day-one arrival.
I've had 2 or 3 items from Amazon arrive 2 weeks late after pre-ordering months in advance.
It's surprisingly weak.
On Hard difficulty, I leaned over a bar top and shot an un-armoured guy almost point-blank and he just stumbled. Next shot took his arm and leg off though.
Headshots never fail with a pistol. You just need to reduce the sway for it to be reliable.
One look at the inevitable 1-star rating for Xbox One on Amazon vs the 2 or 3 star for PS4 will sway many people away from Xbox One.
There will be massive, desperately-pathetic trolling reviews for both systems, but because more will buy the PS4, I'd suspect the PS4's star-rating to be higher.
Believe me, PLENTY of people read reviews before buying things, and a 1-star is hard to ignore.
Microsoft COULD have turned things around with their moron DRM shit, by having truly mind-blowing exclusives.
The best game they had was Titanfall.
And even THAT is coming to PC, so isn't even an exclusive (like almost ALL the games they showed - technically not exclusives).
The Xbox One is dead in the water. "Deal with it".
MS are in massive damage control mode, and it's too late.
You done fucked it up MS. You done fucked...it...up.
Now please go away and let us enjoy our offline play.
Annoyingly, I saw the first 20 minutes of the game when it leaked.
Like an idiot, I watched it all.
And you're right. This will go down as arguably the best intro to a game ever created.
Only 3 hours to go before I leave work.
I fully expect my time with The Last of Us this weekend to change my life.
After all the shit the Xbox fanboy brats gave PS3 owners over the years, the whole "PS3 has no games" BS...
I say ***k 'em. Let's rub it in their faces for the whole generation.
Karma is a bitch, you deserve it.
Quick, someone say something negative about Xbox One, like how almost all those are coming to PS4.
Actually, we Brits prefer the more realistic approach of:
"Izzz gonna be sick ya 'ear me bruv, innit, brrrrap-brrrap. Big-up duh PS4 ma-siiiiv boooyyyyeeee."
P.S. the normal Brits don't talk like that, but we seem to be exporting music with a lot of people that DO talk like that.
Sorry what?
Wasn't listening.
Too busy playing Battlefield.
Well technically the new consoles, especially the Xbox, are PCs now.
X86 is the most common architecture in the world. Why? Because it's PC architecture.
I'm not saying PCs are better than consoles as that's a futile argument with console owners, but not a single person can say that consoles are not PCs now.
They just have a different OS/interface.
I genuinely believe Microsoft had a better E3 presentation.
...
Until Sony revealed their DRM policy and pricing. The crowd's cheers and chanting Sony's name said it all.
It's a no-brainer.
PS4 all the way.
The whole conference was awful.
Awesome, stunned silence at the $500 announcement. Says it all.
Microsoft fucked up yet again.
Sony just has to say $450 and they've won this generation.
Ahhh of course, because it's the publishers and developers that make Microsoft profits.
Not the people that but the games.
What am I like. So naive...
Damage is done.
They did this for profits, not for gamers. It's a panic-reaction.
