Just more games for god sake.
Been SO underwhelmed by the releases in 2013. I have literally 3 games in disc form, and 2 downloaded games.
Obviously nobody got my joke...
An 18% drop is pretty damn massive, and will be extremely hard to come back from.
They promised to sell 9 million Wii U's by the end of 2013. They've sold less than 5 million.
Of course shareholders are pissed and are bailing. Nintendo failed with the Wii U.
Even with the sales of the 3DS which cannot be laughed at, Nintendo are making a loss.
People are naturally jumping ship.
This is very, very, v...
Planetside 2 gets VERY boring very quickly, trust me.
And because it's F2P, paying makes a massive difference, and you get owned by those that do pay.
P2 is okay, but dull.
Well, it's lucky you can change out the One's hard drive for a bigger one if you want...
I was pushed to almost cancelling my PS4 pre-order from July when I heard this was being delayed.
As much as they're trying to save face by saying they're "polishing" etc, we all know why it's delayed.
They took one look at GTA 5 and went "...we gotta add more stuff."
That and releasing a GTA-esque game like a month after GTA 5 wouldn't have gone well sales-wise. And releasing around Black Flag would have ...
Then you are clueless as to the purpose of the Steam machines.
"...but who wants to buy a new system with old specs?"
Loads. The PS4s and Xbox Ones are going out of stock in places.
And there is not a single person that can say the tech in the PS4 and Xbox One is new. It simply isn't, at all. It's a good 4 years old.
And 90% of their Total War games have been met with massive criticism due to them being so badly made.
They're released in Beta phase, and then "patched". This is just code for "not finished, but sell it anyway."
This WILL be the case with Isolation, because of a new team IS being used to make this game, they need time.
Time is not something SEGA will give them. They have a release date, and SEGA isn't exactly sw...
It's being made by CA, who haven't released a solid game since Rome Total War and maybe Shogun 2.
Rome 2 was a disgustingly hilarious example of how rubbish CA are.
Now they're making an Alien game with no prior FPS experience?
I'm not holding my breath.
Yes, a company needs to start somewhere, but god, not an Alien game. We've been needing a decent Alien game since the AVP days, and if CA are making this...
Is this guy butt-hurt that his favourite game (probably worse) didn't win GOTY?
And 360 users laughed at PS3 owners, for "having no gamez". Remember that?
Now who's laughing?
Playstation has developers that create games that push the bar. They create genres, they make something new, and they're being rewarded for it, ala The Last Of Us for example.
Microsoft has Halo and...oh wait.
Halo - basically CoD, what with its' generic-ness.
I kind of agree.
CoD and EA are the prime examples of gamers being hypocrites.
We complain CoD is generic and boring, yet it sells more than you can imagine each year.
EA has been boycotted by "gamers" so many times now I've lost count. "I'll NEVER BUY ANOTHER EA GAME AGAIN SCREW THEM THEY ARE MONEY GRUBBING SCUM!!!! Ohhhh look another Battlefield! I WANT IT!"
*sigh*
We, the gamer...
And yet statistically, nobody will use it.
Try a PS4 version.
I don't think enough people realize just how important Half Life 2 was.
Without it, we wouldn't have the AI, graphics, in-game story telling, in-game physics etc.
Half Life 2 was an industry changing moment, just like CoD adding perks.
All other games have built off it.
Naughty Dog have been faultless in the past 4 or 5 games they've made.
Fully deserve all the praise they're getting.
If TLOU was the PS3 swan song, I can't wait to see what ND can do with the PS4.
I bet you think CoD is good.
Screw GTA 5.
TLOU is the game of the generation let alone the year.
It makes me laugh.
PS4 + another controller + 3 or 4 games on launch = £570-600
You can build a better PC and have more games through Steam for that amount.
And pron is easier to watch too.
L85A2 from DayZ?
M16A3 from Battlefield 3?
Come on man.
