Why would we be insecure?
Our hardware is better and makes games look better. This is quite simply unarguable.
And to take the piss out of PC fans because you're a console fan, makes you a fanboy.
Medium settings, 720p "scaled" to 1080p.
I've been waiting for news like this to shove back in the faces of console owners saying the new gen would be capable of high or more at 1080p, downvoting "elitist" PC owners who actually know what they're talking about.
KZ has bug all going on compared to Battlefield.
BF4 has 64 players, massive maps, jets, tanks, the whole shebang.
You go enjoy your little Killzone, I'll be enjoying the better game in BF.
64 players is PERFECT for the bigger maps.
This is something console players have been screaming for, and now they're getting it with the new gen.
Good news for them.
But it's not all raining diamonds.
Believe me, after, what, 2 years on BF3 on PC now, hear this:
64 players on certain maps is just ridiculous.
You're annoyed with 24 players. Now imagine 64 players on a map like Me...
Yeah, you go enjoy your "gameplay" in CoD.
Come back to me when it's anywhere near as impressive or amazing as Battlefield.
And enjoy your laughable "next-gen" engine that looks like it was made in 2006.
2 7970s is massive overkill.
Unless DICE have reduced the load on the CPU in the new engine (god save them if they haven't) and allowed your GPU to do more, you can have 5, £950 Titans strapped together and still see your FPS dip into the 50s or 60s on a 64-man map.
BF3 is hilariously-badly coded for SLI.
Raw graphical power in BF3 is nowhere near as important as your CPU.
"I wasn't blown away. What did they really add that innovates multiplayer gameplay? The ability to customize your character? Squads? It's just not enough for me."
So every CoD since MW? No surprise there.
And I really don't care what the fans or Activision/Treyarch whoever-the-***k say, your "new" engine looks pretty much the same as BO2.
I'm sorry, it just looks so damn similar in motion.
...
$100m and they still use AA batteries.
What a joke.
Trust MS to **ck everything up by releasing an inferior console on paper, and make hardly any changes to a controller that was great to begin with in the current gen, yet still blow some companies' profit margins.
*sigh*
Worth it at the prices we're seeing now.
I got it through steam on release day, and really loved it. But with the price having dropped so fast, AND it was on the Steam Summer Sale for like £7...
I wish I had waited.
Fantastic game though and completely regained my interest in Tomb Raider.
And Lara seems so much more relate-able, well-proportioned and real. She's still ***king hot though.
Xbox fans are whining at Sony trolls.
Let's not forget. Who started the "PS3 has no games" crap?
Oh right.
Karma, bitches. Xbox One fails at games, let alone has any. And most are 3rd party.
I think the REAL story here, is that Ellen Page is a bit butthurt that the superior competitor to Beyond Two Souls has a lead female character that looks SLIGHTLY similar to her.
They're using Ellen's face for Beyond Two Souls after all, so she wants to be remembered for that, not for looking like Ellie in The Last Of Us.
And sorry Ellen, but after E3's gameplay...
Beyond Two Souls looks shit.
Sorry, Ellie has some similar features to Ellen, that is all.
For someone to say Ellie looks a lot or even exactly like Ellen Page is a blind idiot.
"The dual shock controller looks ugly with that gimmicky touchpad and share button."
Oh the irony that you're an X180 fan.
EVERYTHING about the 180 is gimmicky. Kinect alone is the shitest, most gimmeicky, most useless thing since the Genesis Light Gun.
Almost all their "exclusives" are 3rd party.
So they'll come to PS4, and are already confirmed for the PC.
So they're not exclusives.
Also, they pretty much all look shit. Titanfall for example is their lead game it seems.
And that's just CoD with jetpacks and mechs.
Wow. So new.
Considering the changes pissed off MORE people, by angering those that liked the DRM and family share etc and WERE going to get one and now won't, PLUS the changes won't affect anyone who wasn't getting an Xbox anyway...
Pachter is a ***king idiot for thinking the Xbox One will now sell more.
Technically it only needs to connect once (per game?), after that you don't need to connect.
But yeah, that still means you need an internet connection.
PS4 doesn't do any of that BS.
I believe Gears Of War is available to download from MS for £20.
Yeah, the first Gears Of War.
You think Microsoft's new store will be cheap and the games they give away relatively recent? Ahaha.
Look at Games For Windows Live. It's as bad as EA's Origin for prices.
At least Sony give away AAA games that are about a year or 2 old.
Halo 3 and AC2? You can literally pick BOTH of these up for...
The US is literally Xbox's biggest market, according to the latest Xbox 360 and PS3 sales figures on Wikipedia.
It stands at about 50/50 between the two, with the Wii selling the most but we're not looking at that.
In Europe, it's the same, just on a smaller scale.
So if the PS4 is out-pre-ordering the Xbox in the US, I'd expect the same scenario in Europe.
Needs to be small for the 2 people who are going to use it.
This is a ridiculous decision by GAME. As if they have the money to waste on stuff like this.
I mean who shops at GAME anymore?
"Hmm, online this game is £36. But I want it right now. I could go to Tesco or Sainsbury's and get it for £38, or I could go to GAME and get it for £45.
Or I could pick it up used, later, for £10 more than CEX...
Here we go again.
Console fans saying their consoles are cheaper than the equivalant PC.
No shit. Sony and Microsoft sell $800 hardware at a deliberate loss so you can afford to buy the console in the first place.
They get that money back in %age takes from game sales.
There is no way in hell that Sony and MS have bought the hardware that they have bought at 50% off without some kind of deal being agreed where they give mone...
