I don't mean it any offensive, but I can't count it anymore how often N4G has been down this year already. Or lagged processing submissions, etc.
The most recent one felt like 2 days.
Just out of curiosity, I really wonder why that is.
Strategically, just for the sake of gaming, a very good point in time right after The Game Awards - no doubt.
And even for Microsoft themselves: the current quarter ends December 31st - a good way to highly likely push some GP numbers, that likely had previously declined, for their next quarter report, too. It's just the way it is.
In of itself, $1 (it's also 1€ in Europe) for 1 month Ultimate is just crazy, in every way you can look at it.
Once Xbox falls, they've always been shifting to Nintendo and/or PC. It's their go-to-routine since 2013.
"Yes, Xbox is out of the top 3 - and that is a good thing!“
100% agreed!
Ovo0: "And PlayStation dropping to #3 while Nintendo stays #1
Definitely healing!"
Xbox OUT of top 3! Gaming healing! Your words! 😂😂😂
Oh how sweet you're spinning words now. But you can't edit anymore! Hahahaha!
Thanks for confirming by yourself (!!!)! 😂😂😂☝ 127995;
"And PlayStation dropping to #3 while Nintendo stays #1
Definitely healing!"
Thanks man! 😂 Xbox is OUT! Finally healing! Your own words!
You may can spin words now.
But CAN'T edit it anymore!
Hahaha! 😂😂😂
Hey everybody!
Osvo0 himself just wrote:
"And PlayStation dropping to #3 while Nintendo stays #1 Definitely healing!"
Look at his comment. It's right up there! ☝🏻
""And PlayStation dropping to #3 while Nintendo stays #1
Definitely healing!"
Thus confirming by himself (!) a top 3 without Xbox (and NEX at 2nd) is gaming finally healing!
...
Ah, spinning words now. You said:
"And PlayStation dropping to #3 while Nintendo stays #1
Definitely healing!"
Thanks for confirming by yourself alone a top 3 without Xbox is definitely healing!
And you can't edit it anymore!
Hahaha! 😂
Thank you for confirming a top 3 without Xbox is definitely healing!
A top 3 without Xbox.
Gaming is finally healing!
We don't know that, do we.
Anyone from Xbox stating "We're profitable!" can be taken with a grain of salt.
It's not that I care.
But only for the sake of having a serious conversation it would be very helpful if we'd knew Xbox' operating income.
Which we don't.
«It'll (based on rumored specs) be an extremely expensive system»
Yes.
And don't forget to add the current undergoing price surges in components to the math.
They've announced even BEFORE them happening that Xbox Next is going to be «premium» piece of hardware.
X|S losing in UK and, most importantly in the US by ~5-6:1 to PS5 is a very rare and telling sight.
If we hadn't come to know about Xbox execs internal plans, quote: "[...] to push Sony out of business.", trying to buy out Nintendo, Valve, Sega, make From Software games exclusive to GP, CD Projekt Red, and ultimately buying Zenimax and ActivisionBlizzardKing to weaken Playstation's revenue stream and force GP onto other platforms, I would quite certainly h...
Couldn't agree more.
Since FSR is open-source and nvidia's DLSS isn't, I'd personally always prefer FSR.
Frankly, I think all these differences are nice to know (and notice) about if you're playing at DF level. And I totally respect that very small need to max out performance.
But given the prices, I don't think any nvidia GPU advantage justifies paying 1000+ bucks. I don't see any game(s) exclusively (or not) available on PC that offer a fundamentally...
Subtract everything coming from Zenimax and ActivisionBlizzardKing = their real (!) preparation for the Series generation.
Call of Duty was riding the revenue horse and charts for ~20 years. Whether undeserved or deserved.
But I endorse everyone to remind you that Microsoft could have decided differently when they took it over.
The money was certainly there, and they could have taken their time revamping the franchise:
Current-gen tech, manageable microtransactions, not imitating Fortnite and returning to core values of the franchise's origin.
...
Behind the scenes, Microsoft must be in a very awkward but also annoying situation here:
Due to rising hardware costs, they must be anything but scared to end the Series generation sooner than originally planned. Since a powerful Xbox Next would cost alot to produce.
On the other hand though, the Series generation couldn't be in a worse state.
2026 is going to be an even worse year in hardware sales than 2025 already was, they'...
The one thing Ubisoft really done was always building great in house tech, I can't deny.
DS2 and Shadows are both great looking games.
