I really gotta say:
Seeing paths others have gone, structures they've built, items that were lost on their journey, collecting and delivering them out ...
My fantasy totally got lost imagining what they must have witnessed, why they died here, why they choose to built structures or leave a rope or latter behind.
While imaginary, it was story-telling beneath the main story.
I couldn't believe it and got so hea...
Death Stranding as an IP is definitely something Playstation can be proud to have. Such an unique and well crafted game design by Kojima and staff.
The community feature, helping each other out, building bridges, witnessing the paths others have gone or even died on ... it was such a special experience for me.
Glad Death Stranding 2 is coming in 2025.
Okay.
Well, out of many games, I had always perceived especially the audio quality in MGS games as peak of the industry.
Seriously, please, tell us.
Why are you like this? What's the reason for all of that?
Maybe they can deduct it from their taxes. Cough.
Every Internet geek could have told them Concord is most likely going to be a failure. Even for reasons of an over-saturated market alone.
And looking at other recent news from studio workers, the development heavily lacked soul & organization.
The disparity between "our" and executives' perception of "Will this work out?" is mind-boggling at times.

If these estimations are reasonably true and comparing them with Microsoft's sell-through data from June 2023, this could indicate the X|S has shipped 6-7mio units between June '23 - June '24.
This opinion piece is something I've been thinking about for years now. Not just with Playstation.
But since it's about Playstation, I'd argue the brand would be much, much stronger today if, at some point, they would have choosen to follow less restrictions which they've occasionally already did.
Their approach with SSD extensions for example. What a great idea. So simple.
But what would have happened if they'd choo...
Having been a PS4 Pro adopter, I have difficulties comprehending the 230% price hike for the PS5 Pro 8 years later.
I hope Playstation understand.
It seems to be officially confirmed the PS5 Pro is digital only.
Edit: appearantly with the disc drive being sold seperately.
So, where was the disk drive?
"Now the SSD's speeds which are pci-e 4.0 were on PC boards in 2019."
If a game's engine isn't designed to fully or even half capitalize on an SSD's performance capabilities, you could have even used them in 2014 already and wouldn't benefit from anything.
Coding is engineering is addressing hardware cleverly.
I am almost more excited to hear Cerny talk through it again than seeing the device itself.
Let's go, Mark!
Thank God.
This is written perfectly. Thanks!
"Instead, developers churn out hollow shells, laden with monotonous quests and progression walls designed to artificially extend playtime while dangling paid content just out of reach"
This part actually is the most annoying/upsetting for me personally.
It's making me feel like they perceive us as being dumb enough to fall for this.
And then, as it happened yesterday, ...
Better an end with horror than a horror without end.
You got me at "All our love".
Jesus Christ, it's crazy, just crazy.
For how many years have we been witnessing half-assed Ubisoft releases now?
It's not just since yesterday I perceive Ubisoft titles as a light form of scam.
I'll say it again:
Slap 5 to 10 bucks onto the physical edition and I'd be happy to pay. But at least release it on disc day one.
There's just no way I am willing to pay 60, 70 or 80 bucks for digital download versions, you greedy f***s.
As long as RRP are so high, at least that'd be truly an advantage to maybe be able to sell it privately for a good amount of money, yes.
I will probably give the PS5 then to my parents. But would have sold it otherwise, too.
I'm not really into the laws behind all of that. And of course my sympathies will always, almost undeniably be on the customers' side. Emulation has always been a miracle and myth to me.
While I perceive emulation as a way to run once dedicated software on a different system for preservation purposes, I of course, without having a clue about any legal bs behind it, always asked myself if ... I mean, how can I today build a system with pre-loaded Nintendo software an...
