@tree_fiddy That's Nicholas Winding Refn. He's the director of Drive, Only God Forgives and MOTHERFUCKING BRONSON, still Tom Hardy's best goddamn movie ever. NWR is legit.

I love that theme of reconnecting with those lost, how Norman Reedus's character is basically establishing communications with cities lost after the apocalyptic events of the game. It makes the game both intimate, in that it's him walking and venturing the terrain on his own, and grand scale, in that his mission is to reunite a country ravaged by despair. And I see Kojima is not abandoning the theme of war, as among all the trailera for the game you see ghostly soldiers of multiple er...

If you take a piece of paper and cover half of Richard's face, you notice it's actually a smash-up of two facial expressions. The left half looks angry and determined, while the right half looks terrified. That's why the face looks so weird, it's a stereoscopic illusion within the art. That type of play with perspective and expression is very typical of Sienkiewicz's work.

You should all check out his stuff, by the way, Bill Sienkiewicz (pronounced Sin-K...

The Monster Hunter formula fits HORRIBLY into a F2P MMO game, and Dauntless proves it. Many features that are just standard or unlockable with gameplay in MHW are locked behind paywalls or loads of grinding in Dauntless, making for a VERY tedious game that rewards you way less often. The gameplay is also nowhere near as complex and varied. The combat feels more like an MMO's constant slashing to make numbers pop up than MHW's crunchy tight gameplay in which every hit has purpose, and ...

Glad to see Yakuza on the list, but as much as I love Yakuza 6, that spot belongs to Yakuza 0. That game is ESSENTIAL.

It's most telling that this bill is being introduced by a REPUBLICAN senator. If the party that is most pro-corporate is keeping an eye on you, that's a huge sign that you're SERIOUSLY pushing it with your bullshit. The Democrats would probably vote in favor of the bill, too. I don't think the bill will pass, but this sends a clear message, I hope the big AAA publishers get the hint.

Asura's Wrath. You had to BUY the ending. Capcom may be batting it out of the park lately, but I still haven't forgiven them for THAT dogshit.

I hope they poach the HELL out of Bioware. I bet loads of their guys are dying to jump ship, and them seeing what Sony did with Kojima Productions must have them salivating. Plus, Sony needs a 1st-party RPG. They have fucktons of EXCLUSIVE RPGs, tk be sure, but they don't have any develioed in house. The last Sony RPG was, what, Legend of Dragoon? Wild Arms?

If you see character movement and camera work in the Deep Down videos, you can tell that a lot of that engine got used for the RE Engine itself. Deep Down is vaporware though. Too bad, too, it looked really interesting.

I have a vanilla PS4, and REMake 2 looks so amazing and runs so smoothly on it, it borders on witchcraft. The RE Engine is AMAZINGLY optimized, and I can't wait to see Capcom release more games on it.

I would not be surprised if existing PS4 games have high res texture packs released for them so the PS5 makes them look aces. In fact I'd bet on it for PS4 games that come out after the PS5 is released.

If they're currently in development, chances are they're already being made for the PS5, or if they release on PS4, they'll be probably be upscalable. I bet PS4 games released after the PS5's release will have upgraded modes to use the PS5's graphics and performance to their advantage. It would be a simple process, kinda like Bethesda with the high resolution packs for their games.

If Sony offers their platform, console tech and user base and Microsoft offers their internet and cloud architecture and their studios, this could be one of the greatest partnerships in gaming history. It'd be an excellent move for both parties and a huge win for gamers of both companies. Microsoft has an opportunity to play to their strengths, and Sony can use Microsoft's help to cover their weaknesses and make their platform even more powerful.

If Microsoft is trying to go for cloud gaming and being able to play from any mobile device, what reason whatsoever is there to have the next XBox console? It'd be a waste of space in your house. I mean, you can't take it on the go, and even if you're in your house, you can still use your mobile devices. Microsoft is already killing their next console before even coming out.

Meanwhile, Sony has the hardware, has the IPs, has the big games coming, has developer s...

I would love that EA became exclusively a sports game company as nothing.else, cause then sports gamers could stay in their lane and all other genres would be clean of EA's filth.
