I've always found people's obsession with 4K baffling, when, if you do the numbers, 4K-capable sscreens are in the minority here in the States. Gimme instead 1080p at rock-solid 60fps and use the extra processing power for stuff like further draw distance, number of on-screen objects and AI. That to me is much more impressive than 4K.
No one held a gun to his head for him to try to make an Overwatch clone and a Fortnite clone in a row. He he has no one but himself to blame for the failure of Boss Key Games.

The Dualshock 5 will probably be basically the same as the 4 except with maybe a sturdier design, longer battery life, and other QOL changes. In terms of function, the DS4 is boss, and I wouldn't be surprised if the PS5 is backward compatible with DS4s.
Um, in the series, the US government has been the biggest opponent of Umbrella's operations once they found out about their goings-on. The US Congress straight up destroyed Umbrella as an entity between RE3 and 4, and they created the anti-BOW groups that the main characters are a part of. Not to mention that Umbrella itself is an European company, and the places where it holds most power are in Europe and Africa.

Interesting, so it's basically Vanillaware's take on Super Robot Wars. And it looks like collateral damage is a factor in the game, which makes for a more realistic take on the genre, very cool.

Hahaha. But for real, Kojima's demeanor and social media presence are wholly different since leaving Konami. His satisfaction with his work is easily evident.
Game development is always a stressful endeavor, but all I'm gonna say is that Kojima has been more visible, more engaging with the community and even smiling more than he ever did in Konami. He may be feeling the stress of developing Death Stranding, especially since the game's coming out in November, but he's happier now than he's ever been.

You know, talking about this, we don't see Sony buying many studios like Microsoft does, but I bet they hire a LOT of talent from former studios on an individual basis. That they might not acquire a studio outright, but that their already existing studios hire a lot of personnel from studios other companies squander. I think this idea might hold water, cause Sony's 1st party studios, proportionately, are much bigger and high profile than the other console manufacturers.
The PS3 had the most bungled launch of any Sony console, but it actually ended outselling the 360 in the end, by a very SLIM margin but still. The amazing game library the system had in the later half of its lifetime made it rally hard, and the system served as a learning experience for Sony to completely sink Microsoft with the PS4.
