They should poach former and current talent from Bioware. Not the executives, EA are welcome to circle-jerk with them as much as they like. But Sony can use a blockbuster RPG.

Why would it get censored? The Sakura Wars series has never had lewd content. It has never had any content meriting anything beyond a T-rating.

Translation: were too lazy to actually put in the work of offering features and an added value player experience that equals or surpasses Steam's so we'll just throw a bunch of money at other companies to get exclusives.

That's all it is, cause other than exclusives, Epic Store offers ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to the consumer over Steam.

Correction: you can play as 20 different character types multiplied by randomization. Like NPCs in Skyrim.

The reason Sony will prosper while Microsoft and Google fail is that PS Now is NOT Sony's primary platform, so by not depending on it exclusively, they can still do well with their other gaming offerings, and in the meantime, they continue to gradually improve the service and turn it into added value for the Playstation brand. I think streamed gaming as an option is MUCH more appealing than as a an exclusive platform.

Lol, sure.

Microsoft and Google are barking up the wrong tree by going head to head and banking on streamed gaming. Streamed gaming will never get past being niche, the telecommunications infrastructure simply cannot support it as a widespread platform. They're leaving both Sony and Nintendo free to dominate the console market, which they will by simply sticking to what they do well. Sony and Nintendo don't step on each other's toes, either, so they can both thrive next to each other. If Nin...

What a moronic comment. They're completely different types of games with different audiences, and Iceborne is sold at expansion price, not full price (except the special edition bundle that also has the base game). Not to mention that, big as it will be, Borderlands 3 is coming in after loads of bad press and criticism of both Randy Pitchford and Gearbox's output over the last few years while Iceborne has loads of great press, developer interaction with fans and it's an expansion ...

They just toned it down for the trailer, the game itself is untouched. This is non-news.

Microsoft is changing focus towards streamed gaming, so their competition is Stadia. If anything, Microsoft is leaving the field Sony is in, and Sony will reap the benefits.

Whoa whoa, wait, Deathloop is a MOBILE game? That did NOT come through the presentation AT ALL. THAT is some shady-ass shit if that's the case.

"The business isn't how many consoles you sell."
Said by the guy in charge of the least-selling console.

How was the Bethesda conference saved by two games they showed absolutely no footage of at all and of which we don't even have a clear idea of the plot or gameplay?

Star Wars: The Force Uncharted.

Who are they competing with? Sony and Nintendo both skipped the conference, and Ubisoft and EA are historically fucking terrible, they just "won" by default.

Indeed. When Jason Schreier revealed in his exposé that they disallowed the developers from studying other games like The Division and Destiny, I was flabbergasted. That'd be like deciding to make a fighting game without ever having played Street Fighter or Tekken. It smacks of insanity.

Ignoring what this moron wrote, it IS refreshing to get a Kojima game again cause his games are also fun on a meta sense of discussing them with friends and fellow fans. You play a game like Snake Eater and it's both a fantastic gameplay experience and a game worth discussing over its many themes, and Death Stranding looks to be no exception.

Exactly. Being backward compatible and cross-compatible with the PS4 means that players can simply buy the new hardware without even buying a single PS5 game and it's already a win cause all their PS4 games run in Pro Mode and they can still play online with their PS4 games, seamless as can be. And there will possibly be future pS4 games with downloads for enhanced modes for PS5, too. I wouldn't be surprised if Kojima Pro releases a PS5 enhancement patch for Death Stranding when the ...

I was already laughing my ass off at what an absolute disaster Anthem was, and I had zero faith it was gonna get fixed in any meaningful degree with updates since the game as a whole is fundamentally flawed, but when I saw that The Cataclysm was gonna be an 8-week event, that just put the nail on the coffin. The fact that it's a temporary event means they're just putting up exactly that, a temporary fix, they don't have any long-term strategy whatsoever. Anthem needs a Final Fanta...

I'm so glad that Troy is in the game and his character has his face. The guy's a handsome dude, it was about time he was shown front and center in something he worked in. He looks like a young Gary Oldman.
