If Nintendo had confidence in the Wii U they could cut a deal w Ubi to get the DLC- I m sure Ubi gave them a chance to just as I am sure they gace Nintendo a chance to keep Rayman as a timed exclusive if not full exclusive during launch- But Nintendo has no confidence in their own product therefore they won t make any min sales/revenue guarantees in order to build the Wi U library-
FYI "company policy can be changed at any tie- so if anyone relies on a company policy to protect them then they have no protection- a companies reputation offers more protection than policy
MSFT thinks if they "talk around" or carefully word things then it absolves them - but they can use all the bs they want- enough of their target market and the online community in general are savvy enough to read/understand the English language. The problem is all of the games you mentioned are for 2014... AT BEST. I don t think we have releases dates for any of them- Since Spring 2013, the word was... wait for 2nd half of 2013, wait for holiday sales season 2013- now it is wait for 2014 (we think 2014= maybe Spring, maybe late 2014 maybe even 2015 for some?
IMO, if sales are not HUGE gong thru year end 2013 then any Wii U sales momentum after that will be game specific- in other words sales will not continuall...
So DK is now supposed to release in Feb 2014- but aren t Mario Kart and Smash Bros supposed to be released in Spring 2014?
I wonder if the reason they moved DK back to Feb 2014 is due to delays with Smash Bros and MArio Kart- Iwata has said he wants games to come out one a regular basis- if Smash and Kart were to come out in Spring 2014 then DK would be just as crowded then as it would be if released in Nov/Dec 2013

how can games that have not been released yet be deserving of our time? The games mentioned that have been released I can agree with- but games that will not be out for 2-12+ months (and games w out release dates) can t be deserving of anyones time until they can be purchased and played
