I agree- they will miss their targets by a wide margin unless they reduce them soon-

I think the quarter they are reporting on ended at the end of Sept- Pokémon started sales in Oct for Japan and NA right? So those sales are not factored for the upcoming fin results
I don t think Patcher is a fan boy either- you may disagree w him but he is a financial analyst- He would not keep his job log if he were a fan boy of any console
too early for both- but an objective person would say it has edged closer to doom than success SO FAR- Hopefully that will change over the next few months - sales are def going to increase but will it be enough to keep the Wii U a viable console for the years to come?

I think Platformers are less expensive to make than say a 3d version of Metroid or a Zelda game- It does seem lke lots of platformers on the Wii U-
Pikmin and W 101 are good games though - wished they both sold better particularly W 101- there was no marketing for W 101
I have read several reviews that have given between 70-80 review scores but when I read the reviews the game sounds great - I have not seen anything in a review yet that makes the game sound like it is "less than" the previous games- They basically say the game is bigger and in many ways better than previous but di not innovate enough-

Def good move by Nintendo- they need to let parents know the Wii U is a family console (the reason I bought it at launch but the "family" games were not there (there were too few games in all categories)
Now after a year the library is getting better and there are more family titles to be found- this bundle is really good marketing for the Wii U imo

It really is hard to understand how they choose their VC E shop games-
Their goal should be to get the whole library on the E shop asap- it would generate far more revenue for them than it does now and with Nintendo s library, I think it would actually move some consoles if they started getting significant parts on their library up sooner or later
